What has been your ‘oh my god’ moments in celebrity gossip?

Mine have been:

• Jay-Z and Solange in the elevator
• Detective Coleen Rooney making her case
• Kanye West ‘imma let you finish’ with Taylor Swift

They all genuinely shocked me when reported, and for the love of twitter VardyGate was fantastic.

And before anyone gets in, yes I have got a life, I just enjoy celebrity gossip as a bit of freedom from the day to day. But well done on you for not caring and being better than me

The old celeb blinds went as there were a couple of ongoing problems.

An element kept pushing the thread into dark waters, really unpleasant stuff

Occasionally on the boundaries of "is it legal to say that?" and regulars got concerned

Another poster stood out for making a persistent nuisance of themselves through an inability to accept that the threads were blind

It all got a bit OTT

The one that got me recently was the story about a chap in his 80s dying somewhere in Canada after a long life and very happy marriage: a chap that was supposed to have died decades earlier in a very famous tragic car accident, and had been an Old Hollywood idol ever since.

Apparently, so the story went, this idol so desperately wanted out of the Hollywood game that he organised a small team that would pull off a fake death for him. He then fled north, out of the US, and set up a new identity and life.

That man was James Dean.

Presumably they included photos/videos which were just sad to lose at the time but which became irreplaceable, and so infinitely more heart-breaking to have lost, after she died.

@Redspider1 Their minder published a tell-all book about them and they tried to block it in court. In the end the minder had to delete 200 words from it. Those words were on the internet and allegedly recounted an incident between them from before they were married that resulted in VB needing to be admitted to hospital.
