Sitting with a cuppa watching the cat watching the birds in the garden. It's a miserable day here.

We moved house 2 weeks ago so today we're trying to sort out the wardrobes. I'd much rather a sofa and movie day but I'm also sick of falling over boxes. The bruises!!

We're having a roast dinner - beef with all the trimmings.

Still in bed. Last lie in for a while so making the most of it. Then I have to get up and wash the school uniform and work clothes that I've ignored for a week! So a day of running round getting ready for tomorrow ahead. Joy.

MsMustDoBetter · 03/11/2019 08:47

Lazy morning, long dog walk, read The Sunday Times. We're having Roast Ham with Cauliflower Cheese for dinner.

DonnaDarko · 03/11/2019 08:48

My sister is moving into our new place today (we've decided to be unconventional and all live together to save on rent). DP and I can't move until next week. As she is going to be busy all day, I'm cooking some food to take over there , and cleaning supplies to clean the oven cos they did NOT professionally clean like they said they would 😐

Then we have to go out and buy DS a new water bottle as we lost his yesterday and he needs it for nursery. And then there's a mountain of laundry and I need to continue packing for our move!

DonnaDarko · 03/11/2019 08:49

*packing cleaning supplies, I'm not cooking them 🤣

DaphneFanshaw · 03/11/2019 08:49

Still in bed here too, drinking coffee and browsing.
Dc are watching the Simpsons downstairs.
The cat is at the end of the bed.
Roast chicken for dinner tonight and a nice autumn walk in a bit.

Austriana · 03/11/2019 08:50

Wrapping birthday presents for parties. The kids are making cards and have felt tip on their faces and the table.

Lsquiggles · 03/11/2019 08:50

Lazy morning cuddling my sleeping 4 month old daughter on the sofa. Going food shopping later then having a roast dinner with chicken

KatyaZamolodchikova · 03/11/2019 08:51

DH and I are awake, he is up and downstairs, I am about to get up. DSD is grudgingly awake. I have an aerial class at 10am and DSD has guitar lesson at 11. After lunch I’m going to go see my grandma with my mum then DH and DSD will meet me at my parents house as it’s my dads birthday.

After all that it’ll be home for toad in the hole for tea. DSD will go to her mums, DH will watch F1 and I will read my book.

This has been a busy weekend for us though.

SeaSidePebbles · 03/11/2019 08:51

Still in bed with a coffee :) and fighting the urge to have breakfast, I’m going for a swim in 20 minutes.
The plan is to go out for coffee with DD, then home to make bread and soup. And an afternoon nap.

LorelaiRoryEmily · 03/11/2019 08:51

I'm bringing ds for his swimming lesson at 11, DH is going to our new house to finish off the painting, then I'll do some more packing to move. Later on I'm going to the funeral of one of my favourite clients, I'm so sad she's passed away.
Then home to make dinner and tomorrow I'll go to the second part of the funeral and take ds with me.

vampirethriller · 03/11/2019 08:53

The baby has got a horrible stomach bug so not much. We've had to take the dog out to the park but other than that I'm doing very little!

Chilledout11 · 03/11/2019 08:54

I have an eye test later and we are going to the children's theatre this evening. I have dinner half ready and uniforms etc all done. So nice relaxed morning.

SimonJT · 03/11/2019 08:55

I’m nursing an awful hangover and my son gets home at 9:30.

We have swimming at 10:30, we’re going out for lunch with my boyfriend (who left a few minutes ago and is an interesting shade of green...).

Then it’s play at the park for an hour or so before we go home, it’s free time until dinner where my son can do what he wants (within reason) then dinner, bath, bed.

Once he’s asleep I’ll be able to watch his dark materials.

dancemom · 03/11/2019 08:58

Still in bed. Dd is going to make pancakes for breakfast.

Hairdressers at noon. Dd has a friend coming over at 2pm then has her music group at 6pm.

I need to do a shopping, meal prep and iron for the week ahead and just general Sunday tidying.

Somebodystired · 03/11/2019 09:02

Me and DS(2) are downstairs watching classic cartoons and eating scrambled egg. DS(9) and DH are still asleep. They'll be up in a bit, I'll go and pick MIL up and then she is coming round for sunday lunch. If the rain holds off, DH and MIL will take the kids to the park for half an hour whilst I'm faffing with lunch to keep them out of the way. Then I will spend the rest of the afternoon curled up on the sofa cuddling DDog (who has recently 'retired' to live with MIL after our house with a very loud toddler was getting a bit much for him in his old age) whilst DH cleans up and MIl plays board games with the kids.

Perfect Grin

MsChatterbox · 03/11/2019 09:04

Have terrible morning sickness so currently collapsed on sofa whilst toddler watches Pocoyo and pretends to feed his teddies. Got to muster strength to make mac n cheese and then visiting laws later.

Elodie2019 · 03/11/2019 09:08

Getting up soon to go out and buy beef for roast dinner later.
Finishing washing clothes and plan to watch films all day.
Family are all staying in too!
Every Sunday is the same!
I love it!

maddiemookins16mum · 03/11/2019 09:08

Just had tea and toast.
Need to tidy through, clean bathroom and do a towel wash (it’s dry outside yay).
Chicken for lunch about 1.30pm.
At 4pm we’re off to our Church pot luck tea followed by fireworks,
Still need to do some work on a training presentation for work plus online shop.

DontLettuceBrexitLettuceRomain · 03/11/2019 09:10

Had a lazy morning in bed so far - is there a better feeling than waking up and just being able stay snuggled rather than crawling out to get dressed?

Has eggs, ham and avocado for breakfast, watching the last episode of A Discovery of Witches.

Need to do some job applications today thanks the wise words of MNers on my other thread, then get the house ready for guests arriving at the end of the week :)

Contraceptionismyfriend · 03/11/2019 09:10

Well. My plan is to scrub this shit storm top to bottom.

What my day will probably consist of is.
Screaming, crying, screeching, arguing, nagging, and more mess.

cliffdiver · 03/11/2019 09:13

I'm in bed with a coffee, DDs eating breakfast, DH washing up and DKitten out exploring/keeping away as it's worming timeGrin

In a minute I'll prep dinner for the slow cooker (sausage casserole - the first time we've had it, so it should be interesting!) and later we'll head to a NT place for a long walk.

dementedma · 03/11/2019 09:13

All still in bed here. Must get up and colour my hair, then go and sell poppies and take a housewarming gift to a friend. Also need to make a Christmas cake! No idea whats for dinner.

Heaviestdirtyestsoul · 03/11/2019 09:14

Building a model of a bronze age settlement. We have had the entire half term to do this, he has umm-ed and ahh-ed about it- then announced he doesn't want to write a factsheet anymore. Just build a model. I'm tempted to provide resources and leave him to it!

Bellasblankexpression · 03/11/2019 09:22

Just got up - we've been hit by colds so both had a lie in.
We are moving soon, so need to start having a sort out, so I'll probably put a lot of stuff on eBay today as it's nice and bright for photos.

Need to pop into town, order some chairs for our new conservatory, and make a roast with chicken later, which I am very much looking forward to.

Aside from that it will be the usual Sunday tidying, doing a bit of work on my crochet blanket, and I have a little bit of work to do.

Usually swim on a Sunday but as I'm still sniffling that's not going to be in the plan!

Hope everyone has a lovely day

Pinkarsedfly · 03/11/2019 09:24

Crap day.

My elderly dad is in hospital, so I’ll have to drive over to the next city to visit this afternoon.

I have to wash a load of greenhouse glass before I go.

Nowt in for tea.
