Confess - what have you had to eat/drink today

I started off well, apple and low fat yogurt. Met friends for coffee, had a latte and massive piece of rocky road. Tinned soup and grain/poppy seed roll. Tea (skimmed milk) and two rich tea biscuits. The wine that's been sat in the fridge for a few days is about to be opened, so some breadsticks as well. Ham and pineapple pizza for tea, half hoping DH will make it home for tea then it can be shared with a healthy large salad. Pretty good at drinking water, so I'll fit in approx three pints today.

There are elements of healthy options here and I'm aware I'm trying to justify some options, but ... Smile

cereal for breakfast.
A veggie meat roll for lunch
An Apple
Homemade vegetable soup for later
made a Victoria sandwich cake this afternoon with homemade lemon curd, which I might sample as well

ScarlettDarling · 01/11/2019 17:48

Seeded bread toast with peanut butter and jam for breakfast (2 slices) and decaf coffee.
Banana.
Ham, cheese, red onion toastie for lunch with salad.
Mini bag of maltesers and decaf coffee.
I'm making dinner now which is cod and smoked haddock stew (tomatoes, garlic, mixed beans, peppers, spinach.)
I have my eyes firmly on a Wispa gold later on!
That's a pretty normal day for me.

carrie74 · 01/11/2019 17:51

Greek yoghurt, muesli and blueberries with warm apple juice (watered down so 60/40 juice to water).

Was cooked for at lunch, and was served a feast: red cabbage, carrots, roast pots, gammon, beef, beef casserole, squash, parsnip and sweet potato gratin, red onion tart, followed by Apple and pear crumble.

Am still stuffed, so cheese and crackers for dinner tonight!

Eggs, kale, toast, stroopwaffel, banana with tahini, cauliflower with grated cheese, apple

Trying not to eat too much more today, so drinking lots of boullion to fill me up

iklboo · 01/11/2019 17:53

A piece of toast with raspberry jam
Mince, onions & barley with mashed potato
Two cups of coffee

Froggledoggleoggle · 01/11/2019 17:53

Fridays are the worst days for me with food, I'm always in a rush to get out the house with ds (3 months) to meet my mum for 12.30, no matter how organised I am I never eat breakfast, didn't even get a cup of tea this morning.
Had a small ham, mushroom and pineapple pizza from domino's for lunch with a can of diet coke.
Packet of bbq hula hoops and a can of 7up.
Back home now, I've had 3 viennese swirls and a pint of water.
Going to the gym about 7ish, so late dinner at 9ish of chicken salad.

If you asked any other day off the week it would be much better as I'm on a meal plan with my gym training...

Froggledoggleoggle · 01/11/2019 17:54

Of not off damned autocorrect.

ThisThat · 01/11/2019 17:54

I'm extremely jealous! That sounds fantastic Grin.
I had 2 slices of toast at 7am, and another 2 at about 2pm. At home with a sick but hyper toddler all day, also tried to get some work emails done during nap timeConfused

ISmellBabies · 01/11/2019 17:56

A slimfast, some Halloween sweets and chocolate, a burrito and a cup of tea. Also lots of diet coke.

PickAChew · 01/11/2019 17:57

What's to confess?

I've had porridge, with a banana and a big mug of coffee.

Butternut squash soup with a small ham and soft cheese sandwich, plus a couple of veg samosas.

DH is on his way out for proper fish and chips, which I am looking forward to, greatly. There will be absolutely no sharing one portion between 4 people involved.

mumderland · 01/11/2019 17:59

Breakfast - gluten free cereal and soya milk
Snack - grapes
Dinner - gluten free roll with mashed avocado and mushrooms
Snack - some sweets
Tea - vegan sausage, mash made with potatoes and cauliflower, steamed broccoli and carrots

And it's movie night for me and DS so I'll probably have some crisps

BezalHell · 01/11/2019 18:03

Not a confession. Food isn't a sin.

Porridge with a banana and some nuts
Toast with Marmite & avocado
Couscous and a Quorn sausage
Two crumpets & a cuppa
Still thinking about what to have for dinner!

Ironfloor269 · 01/11/2019 18:04

No added sugar muesli with skimmed milk
Coffee with semi skimmed milk

Tuna mayo sandwich on brown seeded bread, half a pepper
Banana, a few satsumas

Homemade chicken biriyani
Banana, some pineapple
Almonds and cashews

About 3 litres of water

QueenWhatevs · 01/11/2019 18:05

Two slices of toast, half a banana, and a crispy chicken meal from Burger King. I feel quite sick and bloated now so think that'll be all for today. Not a superb day, nutrition wise!

onemouseplace · 01/11/2019 18:05

Breakfast - small bowl of cereal
Mid morning snack - shared a bit of millionaire's shortbread with DH
Lunch - 1/2 sausage roll/ 1/2 pork pie/ salad
Snack - a couple of celebrations from the Halloween stash.

All a bit brown to be honest, but I blame DH who picked up lunch. We're out to dinner tonight somewhere which is basically a meat fest as well.

P1nkHeartLovesCake · 01/11/2019 18:06

Cappuccino

French onion soup & a seeded roll with butter.

3 glasses of champagne with DH once he got home from work

DH is home with the dc tonight and I am off out with friends for dinner tonight to a Turkish place that’s just opened, I’ve look up the menu online and think I’m going to have halloumi & salad to start then lamb chops, rice, salad for main, not sure on dessert yet. A few cocktails too....

usersouthcoast · 01/11/2019 18:06

Two slices of toast with avocado and scrambled egg for breakfast
10 chicken nuggets (McDonalds) and a chocolate brownie for lunch
Lots of cups of tea

LoyaltyBonus · 01/11/2019 18:08

Porridge with raisins and nuts, tea.

Vegan bombay potato salad (delicious but I'm not vegan) Tea

Latte

Pint of beer (I'm on holiday!)

Not enough water but I always drink less on holiday because of always looking for a toilet!

Off to dinner now, when things may well all deteriorate.

Ftumch · 01/11/2019 18:12

Black coffee x1 for breakfast, butternut squash, spinach and lentil curry with rice and papad and an apple juice for lunch and I have just had a cup of tea. No idea about dinner yet. A most unusual day for me as I am usually a gannet.

Pinkypie86 · 01/11/2019 18:13

One slice of Soreen and Jelly Baby.
I have the flu ( or so it feels and everything hurts ).

Avocado and Marmite?? When I'm better, I'll try this! Thanks. :)

thetardis · 01/11/2019 18:14

fishfinger sandwich and a bottle of cider.

Redspider1 · 01/11/2019 18:14

A boiled egg, toast, coffee
Pumpkin soup with soda bread and cheese, an apple
A beer
DH making a chicken curry as I type.

thedevilinablackdress · 01/11/2019 18:15

Unless you've nicked someone else's lunch from the office fridge no confessions necessary.

Electrocute1980 · 01/11/2019 18:17

Coffee with oatmilk x 2
Lunch was leftover baguette with chickpea salad
Dinner was southern fried tofu, baked potato, roasted peppers, sweet corn

Planning a G&T when the kids are in bed which will lead to me opening the tortilla chips in the cupboard Blush

wildhairdontcare · 01/11/2019 18:18

Protein, peanut butter and banana shake
Tea
Coffee
Chicken breast, couscous and feta salad
Tea
Cashew nuts
