Confess - what have you had to eat/drink today

I started off well, apple and low fat yogurt. Met friends for coffee, had a latte and massive piece of rocky road. Tinned soup and grain/poppy seed roll. Tea (skimmed milk) and two rich tea biscuits. The wine that's been sat in the fridge for a few days is about to be opened, so some breadsticks as well. Ham and pineapple pizza for tea, half hoping DH will make it home for tea then it can be shared with a healthy large salad. Pretty good at drinking water, so I'll fit in approx three pints today.

There are elements of healthy options here and I'm aware I'm trying to justify some options, but ... Smile

Bowl of blueberries, half a banana and greek yoghurt for breakfast.

Pack of oat cakes for lunch.

Got a falafel wrap on order for dinner.

2 litres of water
2 home made skinny cappuccinos
1 large G&T (so far...)

dangerrabbit · 01/11/2019 18:21

Just on here to comment that I hate the way food is equated with morality.

Camomila · 01/11/2019 18:21

Breakfast - decaff coffee and porridge with honey

Lunch - lots of different things, a few baby bells, a bit of prosciutto, cooked fennel, green beans, a few mini pretzels. A few of DSs halloween chocolates.

Just now - decaff coffee and lots of salted pretzels (pregnant and had a lot of nausea from the car)

Not sure I'll manage dinner, if I do i'll have a bit more fennel and a couple of babybell.

I drink lots of sparkling water all day as I can't keep plain water down at all.

*not pretzels, peanuts.

GenevaMaybe · 01/11/2019 18:29

Bad day nutrition wise for me. Nothing to do with morality Hmm I can separate the two ideologies perfectly well.
Breakfast was an almond latte and a pain au choc
For lunch I had a shot of carrot soup, lots of baguette, then a salmon fillet with curry sauce, rice and lentilles. Then a cheeseboard and 3 glasses of Pinot Blanc.
Then I had an espresso and a chocolate.
For dinner we will have a mish mash of whatever is in the fridge and possibly more wine.

MysweetAudrina · 01/11/2019 18:33

Soy latte, banana, 2 satsumas, vegan flapjack

Entire sharer size bag of BBQ popchips whilst walking home from the supermarket 🤷🏻‍♀️

Couple of rice crackers with hummus

I'm gluten and dairy free for my endo and trying to cut down on meat, but doing IVf at the moment so have to have more protein- hence 4 sausages!

Why is it a confession to report what you've done to make your body function?

I've had a ridiculous day at work so

2 x crumpets with butter
Some drumstick lollies
A pot of naked noodles

Am desperate for dinner but stuck in the hospital right now 😭

Booksandwine80 · 01/11/2019 19:49

Breakfast- a fairy cake as I was baking with dd Blush
Lunch- tuna sandwich and half an apple (dd stole the other half!)
Dinner-chicken and chorizo pasta with two slices of garlic bread.
Snacks-about to go and have a look in the cupboard!

AllTheUserNamesAreTaken · 01/11/2019 20:04

Lunch - three egg omelette with mushrooms, peppers and cheese

S - cappuccino

Dinner - low carb sweet and sour prawn with cauli rice. Glass of wine

(I eat low carb as diabetic and am currently trying to lose a few pounds after putting them on over the summer. I really want cheese! Sad)

2 slices of toast with cheese spread
Bowl of pasta & meatballs
Slice of lemon drizzle cake

L: some crusty bread and butter, cheese, crisps.

S: a Crunchie and a cup of tea.

D: fishcake, battered sausage and chips from the chippie.

Pancakes with cherries for breakfast
Lunch was quorn 'fish' and potato
Dinner was pasta and ratatouille (me being too lazy to make a tomato sauce)

Alwaysoverthinkingit34 · 01/11/2019 22:49

A toblerone... 😬

mrsm43s · 02/11/2019 01:37

Not going to "confess", because eating is not shameful, but I'll tell you...

Breakfast - Coffee and lumpfish caviar on thick toasted white buttered bread. (2E a pot in France, rather than £4 in Waitrose before anyone accidentally assumes I'm dripping in wealth and eating the finest Beluga)

Lunch - left over Paella from last night, with salad

Dinner - Teenage DD had friends round before heading out for a party, and I cooked a load of pizza and garlic bread, They ate barely anything, we scoffed the leftovers for dinner. Followed by a raid on the fruit bowl,

This eve have had some red wine, and two raspberry gin and tonics.

Wincarnis · 02/11/2019 04:09

This IS a confession..... today I had a fish (from the chippy) (didn’t eat all the batter) ......felt like I needed something sweet afterwards....opened up a box of after eights...and ate the lot.
