Fed up with everyone keep telling me my baby soon won't want to be kissed & cuddled! He's 9 months!
How old was your baby when they stopped wanting cuddles and endless mummy kisses? Please say never Smile

Well my 6 year old still wants plenty of kisses and cuddles, so I suspect you have a while yet.

PullingMySocksUp · 30/10/2019 19:14

Mine are still going strong at 9 and 11...

Cuddlysnowleopard · 30/10/2019 19:15

My 12 year old still wants kisses and mummy cuddles...

My 14 yr old still likes hugs and kisses. Although I don’t quite smother him and pretend to eat him up anymore.

GeorgieTheGorgeousGoat · 30/10/2019 19:15

Mine all still love it! Eldest is nearly 16...

Chickydoo · 30/10/2019 19:15

23,22,21,15
Still affectionate, Hold hands, huggs & cuddles on sofa.
Long May it continue

GrumpyHoonMain · 30/10/2019 19:16

Depends really. Boys tend to like cuddles / kisses for longer- my brother still lays his heads on mum’s lap for cuddles in his 30s and he’s married with kids

Windyone · 30/10/2019 19:16

DS 15 still very cuddly 😀

SleepingStandingUp · 30/10/2019 19:17

4.5 Yr old still loves kisses and cuddles, blowing raspberries, having raspberries blown on him and licking me.

Sweetooth92 · 30/10/2019 19:19

DS 22 months insists on stopping on the top part of our stairs (U shaped) to give me kisses through the bars. Every. Time.
It’s adorable. He frequently asks ‘mama kiss’ ‘more kiss’ or ‘mama duddle’ and loves his affection

MoobaaMoobaa · 30/10/2019 19:19

one teen will still hug one teen gets all 'urgh ger offffff'

I don't know why people are saying that to you especially when you have a tiny baby Confused

people are weird.

redchocolatebutton · 30/10/2019 19:19

dc is a teenager and we are currently snuggled up on the sofa watching bake off.

no snuggles in public though, that stopped midway through first year at school...

Buyitinbamboo · 30/10/2019 19:21

Dd hated being held from about 5 weeks until she was 2. She's 3.5 now and always wants to cuddle.

Ludways · 30/10/2019 19:25

I'd day mine were about 12. Ds18 still lets me hug him but dd 14 doesn't.

notangelinajolie · 30/10/2019 19:25

Youngest DD is18 and has always been affectionate. She still grabs hold of my hand or links arms when we are out. Still happy to give hugs and always telling me she loves me. The eldest 2 DD's won't even sit next me but that's ok because the sofa isn't very big Smile - I don't mind, I know they still love me. Kisses and cuddles are not just an age thing.

keepingbees · 30/10/2019 19:26

My teenager still likes a hug. My 6 year old still spends half her life on my lap wanting cuddles and kisses.
Enjoy it yes, but they don't all outgrow it Smile

BertieBotts · 30/10/2019 19:27

About 5? Much younger than most on MN seem to experience but defo not as early as your friends are saying!

DramaAlpaca · 30/10/2019 19:28

My 26 year old still wraps me up in a big hug whenever he's home.

BertieBotts · 30/10/2019 19:29

But I should say DS1 will still appreciate a hug, kiss, hand hold etc at 11 (in private obv!) he just doesn't seek them out any more.

Gingermuffin · 30/10/2019 19:34

I’m 33, my brothers are 31 and 28 and we all still love a good cuddle with my mum. My eldest is nearly 8 and he loves a cuddle when we are at home. He did go through a phase of not wanting to show that he liked me in public for a while but we moved recently and his new friends still give their mums hugs. I’m pleased to say that he’s back to being happy to be seen with me in public again and gives me a good hug before and after school Grin.

BathTangle · 30/10/2019 19:37

DH is 52 and still hugs his mum every time he sees her Smile
