Literally??? What, literally splattered on your insides?

Pedant alert

BIWI · 15/10/2019 16:50

What do you mean 'bursting'?

RickOShay · 15/10/2019 16:51

You mean you feel full?

Overseasmom100 · 15/10/2019 16:51

So bloated Ive had to undo my trousers, it's awful really blown up

Is this some sort of weird stealth boast? Do you normally make a lettuce leaf last until the weekend so a whole salad is a major blowout for you? Confused

moreismore · 15/10/2019 16:55

If you have repeated, unexplained severe bloating you should see your GP

Yewtown · 15/10/2019 16:56

Iceberg lettuce. It gives me horrendous ibs. Little gem is fine

SlightlyWizened · 15/10/2019 16:56

Have you explored any alien spaceships recently?

BIWI · 15/10/2019 16:56

Could be food poisoning - perhaps from the salad leaves?

Or IBS if you're bloating.

MitziK · 15/10/2019 17:28

Low carbing - constipation? That can cause you to bloat.

Or just wind. Lots and lots of it. Try curling up with your tummy against your knees/upper thighs, so gravity puts some pressure on.

don't do this when there's somebody else in the room. The resulting emission tends to be very long and very, very loud

DisgraceToTheYChromosome · 15/10/2019 17:44

Irritated stomach from the black coffee? I eschew espresso for this reason. I'm fine with a pint of café au pair, no matter how strong.

DisgraceToTheYChromosome · 15/10/2019 17:44

Ffs! Au lait! Bloody autocorrect!

lyingwanker · 15/10/2019 17:45

Sometimes coffee can do this to me. I'm not sure what causes though because it's not every time.

Submariner · 15/10/2019 18:02

Any onion in the tuna salad? It's a big trigger for IBS for some people.

ALongHardWinter · 15/10/2019 18:03

Stealth boast?

Baguetteaboutit · 15/10/2019 18:06

How long have you been low-carbing? What have you been eating over the last few days? Are you constipated?

randominternetperson · 15/10/2019 18:48

I bloat with random things (tomatoes, high protein Greek yogurt etc) take a look at the FODMAP diet. It may help.

MarkinTime · 15/10/2019 18:51

A couple of rennies should sort you.

GeneHuntLover · 15/10/2019 18:53

OP isn't fucking bragging so fuck off with your stealth boast bollocks, she's obviously in discomfort.

I don't have any words of wisdom OP but if it continues I'd seek medical advice. Hope you're feeling better soon 👍

Hydrogenbeatsoxygen · 15/10/2019 18:56

You have too much acid in your stomach. Caffeine, salad and not eating enough has caused it.

wheretoyougonow · 15/10/2019 18:58

Do you have ibs? Coffee maybe the irritant.

PickAChew · 15/10/2019 19:00

Something like windeeze might relieve your discomfort. Might be something in the salad or dressing that's disagreed with you. I don't like a lot of carbs with a meal but I do often get a tummy ache if I don't have at least a small portion to soak up the stomach acid.

Em308 · 15/10/2019 19:01

I have gastroparesis, which makes me feel as you describe.
