What do you wear when you work at home?

I know this makes me sound like an incompetent idiot!

My job is a real mixture of out and about, office based and wfh. About once a week I am at home all day and I can’t seem to work out what’s comfy. If I stay in my PJs or very comfy clothes, I don’t feel productive. If I wear what I would wear for work I feel uncomfortable and over dressed, even though it is a fairly casual dress code.

Interested in what others wear when wfh.

Smart jersey stuff. Not as casual as trackie bottoms and a sweatshirt but not as dressy or office like as work wear

I work from home from home every day and I also do the school run so I need to make some effort. I wear skinny jeans or jeggings with a jumper, jumper dresses, tunics and leggings. I put on light make up every morning but don't bother styling my hair, it's just up in a pony tail. Once home from the school run I wear my slippers all day.

I wear either a onesie or some pyjama bottoms that I class as my "day pyjamas" and a hoodie!

Leggings and t-shirt. Then cardi and pashmina if it's cold. I always make sure I've had a shower!

Jeans and jumper

Jeans/ legging/ comfy top. I usually still have to get dressed to do school run. If dh at home he'll do school run and I'll stay in pj's

Leggings and a jumper or tunic. I find that making sure I'm showered really helps.

Always have a shower and clean my teeth. No make up though and hair in a pony tail.

I wear leggings, loose T-shirt and a cardigan. I work from home 2 days per week and now have a small work from home wardrobe, as well as a work wardrobe.

We now have Webex at work so all conference calls are now video calls so working at home hoodie and no make up is no more! .

Depends. Sometimes pyjamas and dressing gown. Sometimes normal clothes. At the moment accessorised with a heated blanket

Comfortable jogging bottoms and a vest top with a hoodie or fleece. Fluffy socks in the winter.

I also keep a black v-neck top and a scarf hanging on the back of my office door so that I can pull it on if I get called onto a video conference at short notice.

Shower (or I’m not human!)

Leggings & t-shirt if I don’t need to do much outside the house. Jeans/combats/etc if I do.

But I work best when I’m comfortable, not everyone does.

Pants, if it’s cold I put a t-shirt on. If I have a video call (fairly rare) the it’s pants and shirt.

A lot of my calls or meetings when wfh are video conferences or via Skype so I have to look decent so it's jumpers with jeans. No pjs.

Interesting question. I need to make a little bit of effort in order to be in the mood to work. So decent jeans and a smartish top. Good hair but no makeup.

PJs! I might go as far as a bra and t-shirt if I've got a video call, but otherwise I prefer to just crack on with it and finish earlier.

Gym leggings, sports bra, T-shirt and cardigan, at this time of year.

Jog bottoms, T-shirt, oversized hoodie, big fake fur slipper boots, toast crumbs.

I work from home every day and tend to wear jeans/leggings and t-shirts/sweaters/jumper dresses. I do my hair everyday but I'm not a make up wearer. I find the process of getting up and getting ready gets me into work mode. Don't think I'd get anything done if I didn't get dressed!

Leggings and a tshirt or oversized sweatshirt usually. I try to have a shower before I log on but sometimes I'll log on and check emails then go shower and get breakfast before starting properly.

I get up, shower, have breakfast, put clean pyjamas on and get back in bed with my laptop. Absolutely terrible habit

I wfh everyday with video calls. Leggings, yoga pants with t-shirt and jumpers.
