In the style of Chris Moyles - gooood morning everybody!

Why are you all up?

DS (2) woke up needing a bit of TLC as toddlers sometimes do. He's drifted off again and I'm lying here listening to a storm raging outside. It's quite pleasant actually

I'm up as I have to go to work very soon

NeverHadANickname · 07/10/2019 04:02

It is 11pm here so is actually probably late rather than early but my 2 week old was starting to make noises like he wanted a feed and now I have him up he is fast asleep. I just know as soon as I put him down again he will want food so trying to wait but I am tired.

emmaluggs · 07/10/2019 04:05

I’m saying the final goodbye to my dad today at his funeral I feel sick and my stomach is in knots, listening to my 13 week olds breathing is somewhat helpful though

MooseBeTimeForSummer · 07/10/2019 04:05

I’m in Canada. 7 hours behind!

NeverHadANickname · 07/10/2019 04:07

I'm sorry for your loss emmaluggs

wonderpants · 07/10/2019 04:08

Teacher- up to the mark the books I was too tired to finish last night after a weekend working!

SquigglePigs · 07/10/2019 04:09

Flowers emmaluggs

I'm feeding my 10 month old who is full of a cold and has recently decided sleep is over rated!

RefuseTheLies · 07/10/2019 04:11

My 4 year old has only just fallen back asleep after being awake 12am to 4am. What the fucking fuck?! Why?!

FortheloveofJames · 07/10/2019 04:14

Currently pregnant was DC2 and due tomorrow. Officially at the too uncomfortable to sleep stage and obviously need to pee 5 times a night.

taytosandwich · 07/10/2019 04:14

@emmaluggs I am sorry Thanks our babies are a great source of strength. It might help if you write him a letter telling him all the things you want to say before you go if you haven't done so already.

taytosandwich · 07/10/2019 04:16

Awake with a six week old who thinks party time happens between 2.30am and 4.10am (just dropping back to sleep now, I think).

How can she sleep so well during the day, in her Moses basket, when I put her down, but be all wide eyed awake in the middle of the night!?!?!?

Hazzy135 · 07/10/2019 04:16

Feeding my 3 week old. He's been sleeping 3/4 even 5 hour stretches but tonight the longest he's managed has been an hour and 20 minutes 💤💤💤

PSILoveWine · 07/10/2019 04:33

I'm awake because I woke up and realised the kids didn't bring down their baskets of Friday, which means I'm washing their school uniform now.

PSILoveWine · 07/10/2019 04:33

On*

Gizmo79 · 07/10/2019 04:34

At work on the night shift....3.5 hours to go, not counting obviously!!

SerafinaPekkalasbroomstick · 07/10/2019 04:35

21 mo woke with a blood curdling scream for 3rd time tonight. Naturally DH didn't hear it Hmm he gets to go away tomorrow night too.

sashh · 07/10/2019 04:35

Morning all.

Any one want a coffee?

1Bobbinwinder · 07/10/2019 04:40

Up with my nearly 7 week old (!). She actually had her longest stretch tonight - 4.5 hours - which I slept through all of as it started at 1030!! She just woke up with a bit of wind I think and now she's on my chest having a kipples.

I'm trying to enjoy these "newborn snuggles" this time round although it goes against my very cynical selfish nature.

MrsLoganEcholls · 07/10/2019 04:43

My 21 month old thinks that 4am is a great time to start the day and won't go back to sleep.

EleanorReally · 07/10/2019 04:51

i seem to wake up, i have got into this habit of waking at 4.00 ish

lotsofquestions22 · 07/10/2019 04:51

I was exhausted last night so went to bed at 7.30pm last night just after the kids. Woke at 4am uk time and realised I couldnt see my son in his monitor so went in and found him asleep on the floor. Hes got a nasty cough but for some reason isnt coughing so that's worrying me! Now I'm applying for jobs. Looking to return to work after a break to have the family and it's on my mind. I'm trying to figure out what job I can do and what help I'll need to pay for and how much it will all cost so how much I need to earn. Heads spinning!

belle40 · 07/10/2019 04:54

My 4yo woke after a bad dream (now settled in bed). My dog decided he needed a nocturnal garden visit. Just back in bed but wide awake...

Drogonssmile · 07/10/2019 04:56

4.30 is the preferred wake up time of my 3 yo and I fear it will be so forever Sad
