In the style of Chris Moyles - gooood morning everybody!

Why are you all up?

DS (2) woke up needing a bit of TLC as toddlers sometimes do. He's drifted off again and I'm lying here listening to a storm raging outside. It's quite pleasant actually

I have literally no good reason, the children are sound asleep and have been all night, I am well health wise and yet I have been awake all night 😕 just a good dose of insomnia I guess.

💐 emmaluggs sorry for your loss

imaflutteringkite · 07/10/2019 05:03

My five year old DD has woken up every ten mins since 1am. I've brought her in bed with me now. She's asleep at last but laid on top of me and keeping me awake.

EmancipateYourself · 07/10/2019 05:06

I've been awake since 2, wondering how I'm going to worm my way out of something that is just not for me.

Before this journey I am on, I didn't fully appreciate how narrow and selfish this "something" is.

Bad belly. Does anyone else randomly need the toilet in the middle of the night. It lasts about an hour, where I’m on and off, then I’ll be fine in the morning!

cravingmilkshake · 07/10/2019 05:10

Awake feeding 10 week old. She slept 9-5 so we are very happy

sam221 · 07/10/2019 05:12

Chronic insomnia

lovelilies · 07/10/2019 05:14

9 hours into a 12 hour night shift.

LighteningRidge · 07/10/2019 05:18

PGP making sure I am prepped for when baby arrives and wakes me in the night. Got another scan today with fetal medicine and I was having dreams about that so together with the pain I think I'm done for sleeping. Been awake on and off since 1.30 and up since 4.30.

Ornery · 07/10/2019 05:33

Thinking about an early night. It’s 1030 here. My youngest baby is 16 and she just got back from the airport, and has already gone to bed with jet lag Grin

Pineapple5678 · 07/10/2019 05:38

Son woke me up to say rogue cat asleep on his bed, retrieved said cat and put him outside and find downstairs is like a scene from a disaster movie hair and poo everywhere ! Just spent an hour cleaning and 30 minutes convincing our cat to come home who just abandoned it when other cat arrived.
Now I can’t sleep

user159 · 07/10/2019 05:38

I never sleep well the first night DH is away, he travels regularly with work but we've had a month or so of him being home. 8 month old has been asleep since 6.30 last night and is just starting to stir. I'm so lucky she's such a sleeper but I still wake in the night to check the monitor a hundred times!

Xiaoxiong · 07/10/2019 05:41

Vomiting bug Envy thought it was just nerves because it was supposed to be the first day in the office starting a new job today. But instead I've been sick every couple of hours all night. And the worst part is I still have to do the school runs and I just know that now the DCs will catch the bug so I might have to put off my first day for another week if they get sick. Great start to a new jobSad

MrBobLobLaw · 07/10/2019 05:43

2yo woke up at 5am with a hurting leg apparently... anyway he's back to sleep but I am not. 36 w pregnant and uncomfy!

notmytea · 07/10/2019 05:48

Baby dropped feed and my boob is bursting. I've tried to force the baby to take it but he's a lazy one and just rolls back to sleep. I may explode

thatmustbenigelwiththebrie · 07/10/2019 05:48

Starting a new job today. Been awake since 230! Not what I need.

BenWillbondsPants · 07/10/2019 05:49

Been up since 4.15. Don't know why really, possibly a bit anxious about hospital appointment today.

whodoyoufollow · 07/10/2019 05:50

Sorry Emmalugs Thanks
I've been awake for a couple of hours as it's my mum's funeral on Tuesday and I'm awake worrying about it.

islamariesmum · 07/10/2019 06:16

Was up from 5:15 for feeding time!

someoneontheinterweb · 07/10/2019 06:25

I’m on a night shift. Just browsing on my break before I go back to work for the last slog to 9am.

Cakeandmarshmallows · 07/10/2019 06:28

Husband going off to work early woke me up! He can't be quiet!! Then had to get up to let him back in as he missed bus and didn't have his keys! Then the 18 month old woke up in all the coming and going!

Redrosesandsunsets · 07/10/2019 06:40

In another country. I’ve had a busy week and weekend of work and so tired but I can’t fall asleep.
