What's happened to Marks Sparks??

Have realised lately that I've had no offers for ages - must be a couple of months or so. I'm usually beating them off. Have tried Live Chat and even calling them to see what's going on but getting nowhere - anyone else having this?

Think you may be right Jeremy. I've had a couple of one-day-only offers in last few days targetted at specific things. May be the way they're going.

I much prefer the £5 off vouchers you get with receipts in store sometimes.
More likely to drive further business than a spurious discount that might have no relevance and doesn't make me want to go there.

What's happening with their partnership with Ocado for food? I keep on looking but can't find any M & S food on the site.

The M&S link up with Ocado isn't due to take place until September 2020.

I think the Sparks scheme is great and I really can’t understand the almost universal hate it gets (I’m obviously very odd in this respect!). I really hope they don’t get rid of it!

I was saying the same thing yesterday!! Haven’t had anything in months! I made a point of logging on and seeing what points I had etc, and worked out I have been spending 5k per year since it launched so I am a bit annoyed.

How do you normally get your Sparks offers? I have the app. Just checked and I had four from a couple of days ago and had another 4 ready to select when I opened the app. It sounds like your spend in quite high so you should be getting offers. Have you spent anything in M&S during the time you've not been getting any rewards?

I actually quite like it too. It took a while but then I realised that the more you buy, the more offers you get. It's easy enough to just ignore any for things you're not interested in but I do actually hang on if there's something I specifically want - like boots atm - to see if they come up. Yesterday an assistant did say they had been "having issues" with them so hopefully it's just a blip.

They don’t even make that easy though. They, more often than not, aren’t valid immediately and then only for a short period of time, usually by which I’ve forgotten I had them in my purse (I have a n amazing ability to find them the day after they expire Hmm). Whereas Sainsbury’s, for instance, vouchers are valid immediately and have a long life and you can use multiple vouchers (albeit for different things) in the same transaction.

Yeah not had any offers for ages but not sure I miss it. I’m at over 74000 points and get so little benefit I want something new.

I got a hot drink in the cafe for £1 last week and 4 other offers this week - make up, nightwear, shoes and something else I can’t remember.

So all working my end!!

I had this problem. Hadn't had any offers for months. Called Customer Service and they told me it was a problem affecting lots of customers. Advice was to get a new card in-store. The new card seems to have sorted the problem Smile

Thanks Cats, that's useful to know. I had wondered about just signing up for a new card. But I don't want to lose my 160,000 points (yes, I know, but I it's been about 5 years now and we have a good store in our town - I often nip in).

I get offers but always for stuff I don’t want. 20% off ladies jeans and tops is no use to someone who only ever shops in homewares or the food hall.

I’ve just checked my offers
20% off jeans and leggings, kitchen ware, cushions and throws and per una dresses
I won’t be buying anything until the beauty calendar goes on sale Grin
