bookmum08 · 30/09/2019 21:11

I discovered these today. All 3 in the pack gone already - have to go back to Poundland tomorrow.
One more flavour and we will almost have Fry's Five Flavours bar back!!

Bluetrews25 · 30/09/2019 21:27

Ah, thanks roseenglishrose Smile

Boireannachlaidir · 30/09/2019 21:30

Please tell me there no palm oil in them! They sound lovely Smile

SwizzelStick · 30/09/2019 21:31

Thank you for the tip Wombleish. I will definitely be getting some of those. I wish that we could bring back Woolworths and their pic and mix when I spent many a happy hour picking the Quality Street and Roses creams out of the tubs.

ShivD · 30/09/2019 21:33

OMG, these sound dreamy. I love an original fry’s chocolate cream. I almost went to Poundland today but decided not to- boo.

SwizzelStick · 30/09/2019 21:35

Judging by the other Fry's Creams they'll contain palm oil.

bananamonkey · 30/09/2019 21:51

Yes I found them in Poundland on Friday. Hid them from DH Blush

Fry's Raspberry Cream..
Boireannachlaidir · 30/09/2019 21:56

Thanks @SwizzelStick that's a shame I'm not going to bother looking for these in that case

BooksAreMyOnlyFriends · 30/09/2019 22:04

Oh my!

I'm so glad a pp said they're at B&M. I'll get some the next time I run out of Strawberry Bonbons, Reisens and Fish'n'Chips (the crisp variety). B&M rocks!

which1 · 30/09/2019 22:08

Never tried one but didn't they used to be in kind of a dark-pink, kind of purple wrapper with white writing and kind of a square shape?

Used to work in the confectionery section 10 years back and sure I'm thinking of the same one...

Bluetrews25 · 30/09/2019 22:14

Are you thinking of Fry's Turkish Delight, which1?

Wombleish · 01/10/2019 12:20

Home Bargains have them in NOW!

Katinski · 01/10/2019 13:12

I bought some Fry's turkish delight(from the fabulous east),remember that? at the hospital, too. That was a Good DayGrin

woodhill · 01/10/2019 14:54

Excited but not well so will have to wait

which1 · 01/10/2019 23:54

After all this talk of how delicious this Fry's line is, and not having tried them before, I duly popped into Poundland, where I found the Chocolate Cream version - they had mint I think but no raspberry.

I was hoping for great things given this thread but I have to pronounce them horrid (sorry) and that's from someone with a v sweet tooth!!!

HelenaDove · 02/10/2019 00:02

These really arent my thing They are more DHs I did spot After Eight French Fancies in Tesco. If you like fondanty stuff you might like them too.

EL8888 · 02/10/2019 00:06

Yep!! They have recently surfaced for the first time in about 25 years. Sorry to be contrary but l prefer the orange ones. MrEL8888 loves them though

Nutellalovesme · 02/10/2019 00:21

I don't remember ever seeing the orange ones. Tomorrow I will be on the hunt! Wink

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 02/10/2019 00:25

I saw these in Waitrose today. It crossed my mind that I didn’t know they did other flavours but didn’t really give it much thought.

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 02/10/2019 00:28

And while we are on it - does anyone remember a chocolate bar that was like a handful of chocolates (like roses - so orange centre, nut, caramel) melted into a slab of chocolate so that you broke off the individual chocolates? Dad used to buy us chocolate every Sunday when he would go and get the papers and I remember him getting these a few times. It was horrible but it stuck in my mind.

managedmis · 02/10/2019 01:21

Bet the peppermint cream one is great

Very Enid Blyton

Solongtoshort · 02/10/2019 10:22

Just seen these in home bargains

caperplips · 02/10/2019 10:38

Oooh....must try them! I LOVE the original plain one in the blue wrapper. I quite like the orange one and have no interest in the green mint one.
I used to love the Fry's Five Flavours when I was a child.

I also LOVE Fry's Turkish Delight and often buy a 3 pack of them.

I also remember the bar of chocolate with the individual chocolates embedded in it - my grandad used to like this one.

And does anyone remember Chocolate Two and Two from the 1970s? This may have been Irish as my grandad also loves these and they were my favourites

ElizaPancakes · 02/10/2019 10:47

Just text DH with instructions for purchase.
