Yes and have

CookieDoughKid · 18/09/2019 19:58

Yes love going on my own!

WhiteVixen · 18/09/2019 19:59

Yes absolutely. I go to the cinema often on my own. You won’t stick out at all, and if anyone does notice you’re on your own, who cares?!

Riverviews · 18/09/2019 20:00

Yes. Definitely. Nobody will notice or care and you'll be fine. I do it all the time

Bumbags · 18/09/2019 20:00

Hell yes.

All the time.

It’s great.

TSSDNCOP · 18/09/2019 20:00

Yes and regularly do.

purplepoop · 18/09/2019 20:04

I never have been but i would!

Go see it, its fab!

Ludways · 18/09/2019 20:05

I'll have to go on my own, no one will go with me, miserable sods!

Parky04 · 18/09/2019 20:07

Yep all of the time and it means the DW can't steal my minstrels!

burnoutbabe · 18/09/2019 20:07

I go often on my own but tend to only go during the day, avoiding evening (unless abroad on a work trip)

therearenogoodusernamesleft · 18/09/2019 20:08

All the time. No-one notices or cares Grin

It's my favourite treat to myself

SomeoneInTheLaaaaaounge · 18/09/2019 20:08

100% yes

theliverpoolone · 18/09/2019 20:10

Used to do this all the time, and will be doing so again for the first time in years next week!

TaskMistress · 18/09/2019 20:12

I have a monthly membership and go alone all the time. It's bliss. I can watch what I want, don't have to explain plots, can leave if the film is shit.

Ohflippineck · 18/09/2019 20:12

Yes, no problem. Married but husbands bad back excludes cinema and theatre seats.
Best friend is single, lives in central London. She goes to shows alone most weeks - would miss things if she didn’t.
Nobody will think you’re odd 😁

madcatladyforever · 18/09/2019 20:14

All the time. I live alone and friends aren't always available. But I love seeing a film alone.

GreenTulips · 18/09/2019 20:16

I would

EskewedBeef · 18/09/2019 20:17

Yes, it's one of favourite things to do. I went on my own last night because I was away from home and didn't fancy socialising or sitting on a hotel bed watching TV. It's the perfect thing to do alone, in my opinion.

Onehellofaride · 18/09/2019 20:19

I did when I was pregnant 13 years ago and still talk about how great it was! I had been and Jerry’s apple pie ice cream Grin

Treaclebee · 18/09/2019 20:20

Yes no one takes any notice, you're sat in the dark after all.

AnneKipanki · 18/09/2019 20:21

Yes .

ParrotsForLife · 18/09/2019 20:25

Oh yes. And I take my big handbag so I can fill it with snacks.

Thecapturefan · 18/09/2019 20:27

I went to see Fleabag last week myself and did feel a bit silly while the trailers were on and people were chatting. But once it was on I stopped even thinking about it and really enjoyed it!

Yeahsurewhatever · 18/09/2019 20:33

I work away a lot and have odd hours/days off that make it hard to plan with anyone else
Half the time I'm at the cinema is alone
I quite enjoy the peace of it.

That said I've tried Friday/sat nights and it always makes me feel a bit lonely that everyone's with friends or partners - but that's because I'm away from home and going back to a sad hotel room. If I was going home maybe that wouldn't be the case.

RezCowgirl · 18/09/2019 20:38

Yes absolutely. Don't see the point going with someone else cos you can't really chat or socialise at the cinema.
