I'm just trying to figure out which box to tick on some paperwork.

Would you say this hair colour is blonde or brunette?

Brown, definitely not blonde.

Chocolatedaim · 07/09/2019 07:57

Mousey brown...reminds me I need to dye my hair!

Teateaandmoretea · 07/09/2019 07:58

Blonde definitely

And it's a lovely colour, people are too quick to have highlights put in imo.

origamiunicorn · 07/09/2019 08:01

I'd say dark blonde

Anyonebut · 07/09/2019 08:01

If this is for another country, it may be completely different. In my country I am considered blonde, in the UK people would say I have brown hair.

JingsMahBucket · 07/09/2019 08:04

This isn’t blonde, it’s brown hair. WTF is “dark blonde”??

LaMarschallin · 07/09/2019 08:10

You get the options of brown, blond, black, red, gray or bald.

Well, if it's official paperwork, one of those needs ticking presumably, rather than the lot crossing out and "dark blonde" or"ombre" putting in.

If that were done, it might hold up whatever the paperwork is needed for.

It's obviously not red, grey, bald or black so you're left with brown or blonde. I'd say it's brown.

Sounds like it's a bit more official than an application to Storm Models or something.

Mummyoflittledragon · 07/09/2019 08:15

I am surprised at everyone saying blonde. For me blonde is much lighter although this colour is mousey blonde. For the purpose of the form I would have thought brown.

SpuriouserAndSpuriouser · 07/09/2019 08:20

Same, I would definitely call this brown. Though I think it will also depend on what country the paperwork is for, if it’s a country where people generally have dark hair then this would probably be considered blonde.

HeronLanyon · 07/09/2019 08:23

For a form - brunette.
Irl it’s borderline !

MotherTime3 · 07/09/2019 08:27

I must be colour blind, because that is in no way blonde to me

Redshoesandtheblues · 07/09/2019 08:34

Dirty blonde.

origamiunicorn · 07/09/2019 08:39

Here OP this might help. I think this is fairly close in colour.

Although I know people that would call her a brunette so 🤷‍♂️

Tractorgirlz · 07/09/2019 08:40

It really doesn’t look blonde to me, not even dirty blonde. I’d say brown!

RuthW · 07/09/2019 08:58

What I would call mousey, same as mine.

PeriComoToes · 07/09/2019 09:01

Surely they are referring to your natural colour?

BarbaraStrozzi · 07/09/2019 09:04

Well, out of that list, it's brown. The top (not the dip dyed ends) is the same colour as mine, light brown.

For me brunette always conjures images of a rich chocolatey brown. (It's a lovely colour and I always wished my hair was that colour - dyeing not an option for me because of the ghost like pallour of my skin).

ThatCurlyGirl · 07/09/2019 09:05

Ombre that goes from very light but rich brown at the roots to ash blonde at the ends.

wowfudge · 07/09/2019 09:39

For ID purposes I'd say brown.

Dkallas517 · 07/09/2019 23:33

Neither blonde or brunette
More light ash.

Dkallas517 · 07/09/2019 23:34

Agree

TheRebelAlliance · 07/09/2019 23:35

It looks dyed? What is your natural colour?

SudowoodoVoodoo · 07/09/2019 23:57

Brown from that list. Fair otherwise.

How are you supposed to pick just one colour? I naturally have them all. I say fair because it looks different in different seasons and lights.

Hollyhobbi · 08/09/2019 03:16

Mousy brown.
