  1. Northern Soul dancing (nope, no idea, except I can't do it)
  2. Mirror glaze cake decorating (like mindfulness - but with icing!)
  3. The Voice/La Belle Voix: France - blind auditions (so so moody)
  4. Sharon Ann Anti-aging (I love her, I believe her)
  5. X Factor/The Voice Australia auditions (just quality)
  6. Women's gymnastics (I'm the most unbendy person ever)
  7. Women's gymnastic epic falls (I'm also menopausal)
  8. Christian the Lion with the Aerosmith song (sometimes you just need a big cat and a big cry - I have to ration this)
  9. Ferries in stormy seas (really, there's something wrong with me)
10. Dr Sandra Lee (if you don't know, I'm not explaining)

For some reason Youtube recommended an old clip from Eastenders, and I've just been watching random ones for the last two weeks, chuckling to myself.

Animal videos, particularly rescue ones where I cry myself to sleep.

There's a channel that posts reviews about how bad TV shows are, I can't remember the name. But I'll watch Riverdale every week then wait for the 'Riverdale having bad writing for 3 minutes' reviews

LadyOfTheCanyon · 24/12/2019 15:30

Ahhh yes yes to the PP who said (Lord) John Maclean. He is mesmerising!
Also yes to Dominique Sacshe although I try and avoid the ones where she goes full on Republican and just watch the make up tutorials.

I watch a lot of US dumpster diving videos - it's absolutely shocking watching what has been thrown away.

Also the guy who eats old army rations- how he hasn't keeled over yet I don't know!

I also love flash mobs - I find them really moving.

Also - for those of you who like blackhead removal videos : Enilsa Brown.

BearSoFair · 24/12/2019 15:31

ASMR. So weird to try to explain to people who don't get it! As I found out when DH found me asleep on the sofa once with a towel folding video still playing Grin

Jimmy Fallon 'hashtags' videos

Any prison documentary

SoleBizzz · 24/12/2019 15:41

Lens licking

Portulaca · 24/12/2019 15:43

Lots of Booktubers
Louise Pentland
Emily Norris (although do find her a bit irritating Blush)

The DC hate ASMR videos and took the piss out of me for watching them. They did help me relax & fall asleep though.

Shesalittlemadam · 24/12/2019 15:47

@foslady YES!!!! I can't watch when Louise is on, they constantly talk over each other!

Also the "I might do a video on my left toe and how I cut the nail on it last Tuesday"

"Tell me which of my items from Poundland is your favourite!!!" - Patronising. She isn't the only person to ever go shopping.

I could just about tolerate her until the whole contacting a company and actually requesting free stuff.... Confused

Foslady · 24/12/2019 15:54

Also the "I might do a video on my left toe and how I cut the nail on it last Tuesday" *

@Shesalittlemadam 😂😂😂

keepingbees · 24/12/2019 15:57

@Shesalittlemadam I watch her too, I always enjoyed her charity shop hauls but I agree she's getting quite braggy. It's getting repetitive hearing about the wedding and the holidays. She seems to buy a lot of stuff just the for sake of it as well then ends up re donating or giving it away.
I like her with Mr Carrington but I find her so annoying with Louise (I'm sure they're both lovely people IRL) but together they seem very forced and I don't find them funny at all.
I had also wondered how the garden wedding was legal?

joolzfromyork · 24/12/2019 15:58

Soldiers coming home from long postings and their (usually) Dogs going utterly spare with happiness

Gets me every time

Spidey66 · 24/12/2019 16:16

Themepark Worldwide
The Tim tracker
Ask a mortician
Jeffree Star
Squirmy and grubs
Miranda Sings Blush

PloptheBarnOwl · 15/02/2020 09:13

Music, especially unlikely mashups (there is an amazing mashup of Orinoco Flow and Smack My Bitch Up)
Bad Lip Reading channel- hilarious
Documentaries
The video of Felix Baumgartner falling from the edge of space- have watched this so many times!
Blooper reels from TV series- love the Car Share ones
Anything about beautiful places to go on holiday- ice hotels, tropical paradises
There is a Youtuber called Angelo di Carpio who does montages showing what people like David Bowie, Freddie Mercury and John Lennon would have looked like had they lived to old age- fascinating

CatteStreet · 15/02/2020 09:18

Schools TV + continuity/news + continuity from the 70s and 80s
Back series of Only Connect (not in UK and missed them first time round)
Mocked-up nuclear attack warnings Hmm
Documentaries

CatteStreet · 15/02/2020 09:19

Oh, and music - all sorts. Often for nostalgia purposes.

Oldraver · 15/02/2020 09:19

Yep Dr Sandra Lee and all the offshoots

SeaViewBliss · 15/02/2020 09:24

I have phases but I currently like a really good car detail, especially Canadian cars that are being pressure washed!

Large American families grocery hauls.

Japanese apartment tours. I love the ones that have used tiny spaces in really clever ways.

Shane Dawson but only his conspiracy theory videos. He’s such an over actor!

I sometimes like an American ‘clean with me’ but mostly because I love looking at their massive, gorgeously decorated, already clean houses!

19 Kids and Counting/Counting On (plus all subsequent attempts to replicate with different mega-families)
Various tween YouTubers that my kids love (started out watching to check appropriateness, got hooked)

I need to name change now, don't I?

YouWereRight · 15/02/2020 11:57

Fact Fiend with Karl Smallwood, has more than a whiff of lads in a Spoons. He makes informal fact videos, sometimes whilst drinking, and ranting.

The Fold Line, sewing based videos, mainly centered around patterns and notions and sewing news.

Inside the hem, her first impressions of sewing patterns mainly.

Micarah Trades, makes clothes by bodging, they always look amazing.

TrixieHeliotrope · 29/11/2020 20:44
