About your use of handbags

Do you have one handbag that you use all the time or do you use a different handbag every day to match your outfit?

If the latter do you transfer everything from bag A to bag B every morning or do you keep duplicates of most things like lip balm tissues and just move your wallet/key/phone from bag to bag? Or do people use those handbag inners I've heard about and just pull them out and stick it in the next bag but wasn't sure how that would work if bags are different shapes/sizes.

Normally carry a huge tote around but swapped for a smaller bag when I went away and enjoying not having such a weight on my shoulder. But... I can't fit my umbrella or emergency glasses in there.

What do you keep in your handbag on an everyday basis?

Just general handbag nosiness... Grin

I have a small handbag (a celine trio lookalike) with three pockets, two side ones pop off if needed and central pocket has an integrated card holder/wallet section. It holds my cards, keys, phone, a small book and lip balm. Maybe a spare hair scrunchie, could fit more but don't want to lug stuff around unecessarily. I dump it into whatever tote I'm using that day, with whatever else I need like spare clothes for DD. I travel light though, I can't stand rummaging around for things. I used to be a proper bag hag and had a fair few mulberrys, Louis Vuitton and Chanel bags - I'm selling them all currently as I much prefer my current method with cheap cotton totes. I don't have to worry about messing them up as they can just be shoved in the washing machine.

Like panama I have over a hundred.
Not hugely expensive brands, mostly Radley, Kipling, Coach and Cath Kidston.
I'm a sucker for a print bag so the CK Disney collection is hanging in my wardrobe. I tend to use one for a few weeks then swap.

I currently have two on rotation. As it's coming up to Halloween I'm using a large Dooney & Bourke Haunted Mansion tote. It was quite expensive so I'm chopping and changing it with a smaller Disney Parks Haunted Mansion satchel bag.

I keep purse inside with medicines, tweezers etc so just need to transfer that, my wallet, sunglasses and collection of folding shopping bags.

I've just got one bag that I use all the time. It's not pretty but it's functional and does its job. The only time I don't use it is when I either don't use a bag at all or when I take my camera bag out instead.

I don't swap bags that often. I have a large casual bag, small casual bag, small clutch bag and a work bag. I keep them all in the same place and when I change to a different bag just put anything I need in there.

I have a dressing room and the handbags are stored in size and colour on bespoke shelving. Blush

I have a few overpriced designer bags, but my everyday favourites are a burgundy soft leather Betty Barclay tote and bright orange Calvin Klein grab bag.

I change mine every month but I have one cross body bag for quick outings but definitely prefer larger bags on day trips because I have to carry a lot of things ‘just in case‘ Grin
