Does anyone remember the BBC programme Child of Our Time? 19 year old Parys, son of Alison Lapper, has died :( I feel like I watched him grow up on the show, it is really sad.

Poor woman, give her strength to bare this somehow.

That is so very sad, he seemed like such a lovely kid. Poor Alison, as if her life wasnt hard enough already. My heart goes out to her.

This made me so sad when I found out. I also watched him grow up on TV.

That's so very sad I loved COOT and admired Alison, she seemed to be a great mother. Children (and people) are so cruel.

My son was born a few months after the COOT babies so I always followed the programme enthusiastically
