There's nothing for a million but you could more or less have 2 of these

CherryPavlova · 17/08/2019 21:57

Not much. Four bedroom detached in the less popular villages are just over a million.

FreezerBird - we must be neighbours! Can't quite place that house - is it the one you can see on the left from the A44 just before you get to the Lovesgrove roundabout from town?

JoJoSM2 · 17/08/2019 22:09

Some of those houses are so palatial!

I'm in a cheap part of London.

Not seen any from my area yet...

PickAChew · 17/08/2019 23:02

On site Sainsbury's, @Belgravian? I have to walk 3 minutes down the road to get to one. I live opposite a Greggs, though, and don't have to pay extra for the privilege :o

PickAChew · 17/08/2019 23:08

I hope that was just GDPR stuff i had to agree to, @Natsku because my Finnish is a bit rusty :o

ourmamageddon · 17/08/2019 23:10

The 1 million ones are a bit boring so here's one for 4.5

JoJoSM2 · 17/08/2019 23:15

@PickAChew not sure they pay extra for Sainsbury's at Waterside. Possibly the train spotting opportunities (one every minute going by the block...)

JoJoSM2 · 17/08/2019 23:18

@ourmamageddon that massive chandelier is a H&S hazard!

Natsku · 18/08/2019 07:20

@PickAChew No, they now own your soul Grin

BenWillbondsPants · 18/08/2019 09:03

@Thisismyhappyface

I love how it just says 'detached house' on the description. 😁

TinyMystery · 18/08/2019 09:09

@ThisismyhappyfaceI’d nice thee in s heartbeat! Absolutely gorgeous!

TinyMystery · 18/08/2019 09:10

😂😂 Wow fast excitable typing fail. Let’s try that again.

@Thisismyhappyface I’d move there in a heartbeat! Absolutely gorgeous!

hannah1992 · 18/08/2019 09:41

I love this thread. The difference in areas is unreal

You can get this near my neck of the woods www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-73438274.html

DragonMamma · 18/08/2019 09:46

You can get this barn conversion for a shade under a million

www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-72081158.html

Or this detached for just over - I’m sure you could haggle them down!

yeraballoon · 18/08/2019 09:59

Nothing for sale worth that at the moment. There are quite a few properties around the 1mil mark but they don't go on the market often.

Your own vineyard and estate apparently! www.realestate.co.nz/3378604
I drove past it earlier today actually and it is up on the edge of a steep hill so must have amazing views.

This is the next cheapest, so will be under a million (they often don't put prices on things here) but is a beautiful old homestead

Another NW3 person.

This is the nearest roughly 1million property I could find:

Kewlwifee · 18/08/2019 10:23

Don't know why it won't link properly.

It's a 2 bedroom flat. 2 reception rooms. Period.

AllFourOfThem · 18/08/2019 10:34

If you venture a little way down the road there is a new build site where you can get some small three or four bedroom link detached townhouses with no front garden and barely anything at the back for £1m.
