It’s on an acre plot and the inside is my taste entirely ( black and white)

In my opinion, this is vastly overpriced and not that nice.

A 1 BED FLAT? Shock www.zoopla.co.uk/new-homes/details/photos/52436909?search_identifier=b5bb87d306d648c275d08aa5c102d80b we’re in the North, too.

A really boring 5 bed in a ‘naice’ area www.zoopla.co.uk/for-sale/details/51387703?search_identifier=b5bb87d306d648c275d08aa5c102d80b

Same area but 6 beds and more appeal, even if they have painted everything bloody grey www.zoopla.co.uk/for-sale/details/52156266?search_identifier=b5bb87d306d648c275d08aa5c102d80b

Location wise this four bed barn conversion is a ‘best of both worlds’ www.zoopla.co.uk/for-sale/details/51800088?search_identifier=b5bb87d306d648c275d08aa5c102d80b

But still, I’m amazed at how uninspiring the offer is. You’d probably get some more wow factor further afield in the city.

a 4 bed bungalow.....
I'm planning to move to a cheaper area when I retire and realise some money from my 3 bed semi !

InglouriousBasterd · 18/08/2019 12:47

A 3-bed terrace (outer London). Depressing

LaDrem · 18/08/2019 12:53

I don't want to put my location but 1m round here would be:

6/7 bedroom house
3 or 4 reception rooms
Beautiful decor
Massive driveway with extensive front garden.
A couple of garages
Huge back garden, leading down to the river.
A boathouse next to the river for your own private boat.

Actually you could potentially get that for 800,000 depending! We don't have many houses up for 1m round here!

Jaffacakebeast · 18/08/2019 12:59

I should start playing the lotto

Can choose from these nice family homes! No mansions round here!

A three bed, mid-terrace

lazylinguist · 18/08/2019 17:41

Closest to me, between £900,000 and a million, these two gems: www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-63502365.html and www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-63502365.html.
