Where on Earth have you gone to...?

We've checked:

• Both her, and my, bookshelf.

-The bag she uses for Brownies (empty) -My boxes of craft stuff -My Rainbows and Guides bags -Her favourite stash place under the table, on one of the chairs -Her desk The end of her bed, which is usually home to eleventy billion books but not today -The stacking mini-cases my Dad gave her for her birthday -Behind the chest freezer (would have been put there if it was on it's way upstairs) -Down the back/sides of the sofa

She's checking the doll's pram and box of dollys & accessories atm but I don't recall them being out at the same time.

Where on Earth could it have gone to??

Down the side of the car seats.

That's where we lose everything!

Under the freezer,

Right in front of you. I find that I'm looking all over for something and it's in the place I was standing when I first realised I'd lost it.

Failing that:
fruit bowl
fridge
kitchen cupboards
wardrobe
sibling's rooms/bags (if applicable)
under the stairs (if applicable)
shoe cupboard, she could have taken her shoes off while holding said book.

In between a pile of newspapers/magazines/etc on the table

Helpfully tidied away by DH to the most obscure place possible...

Has she done any badgework during the holiday so far & left it somewhere related? Eg shed when gardening?

Wherever the books from the end of her bed have all gone to, it will be in with them I reckon.

Did she leave it at brownies? I regularly have extra badge books that have been left behind.

I don't drive so not in a car.

Fruit bowl has two letters to be filed, nothing else.

Not in the shoe cupboard - she uses the small cupboard in her mid-sleeper bed for shoes & I've checked there and her wardrobe too.

Not at Brownies, we had it out last week to see which badge we'd do today and tomorrow.

Just checked under the freezer as I read that suggestion...not there but I think I ought to clean under it

Her dad said check her bags on the back of her door...he thought he'd put it there but it's not there. It definitely hasn't been anywhere though, we've barely been properly out out iyswim?

Kitchen -where I am atm drinking coffee while the oven warms up. Definitely not in here.

Downstairs loo and pantry but I've cleaned those and been through the contents of the pantry today & definitely not there.

Living room - only has my "office bookshelf" where I keep Rainbows/Guides resources, couple of boxes of craft stuff, and some books. Under the fish tank is empty as I'm getting rid of the tank. Tv cabinet is empty barring box of accounts paperwork to go in the loft. Not down side of sofa/chair.

Bathroom upstairs but definitely not there - deep cleaned that today too.

Both girls bedrooms and my bedrooms and a pile of games/dvd's at the top of the stairs to finish checking.

The logical place would have been mistakenly scooped up with my stuff after planning next term then putting it all away, but, no

It'll turn up in your Rainbows or Guides stuff, in about 6 months' time... but only after you've bought a replacement.

Have you checked under the couches in her school bag and under her bed and bedroom furniture?

@BringOnTheScience I'm hoping it turns up before then, she'll be moving up to my Guides in January!

We've checked everywhere except under the sofa, but I cba to move that right now so will check in the morning.

She hasn't been to Nanna's apart from at the beginning of the holidays, and I'm reasonably sure it won't be there, but I'll ring and check in the morning.
