Where on Earth have you gone to...?

We've checked:

• Both her, and my, bookshelf.

-The bag she uses for Brownies (empty) -My boxes of craft stuff -My Rainbows and Guides bags -Her favourite stash place under the table, on one of the chairs -Her desk The end of her bed, which is usually home to eleventy billion books but not today -The stacking mini-cases my Dad gave her for her birthday -Behind the chest freezer (would have been put there if it was on it's way upstairs) -Down the back/sides of the sofa

She's checking the doll's pram and box of dollys & accessories atm but I don't recall them being out at the same time.

Where on Earth could it have gone to??

We had to buy a new one recently oldine showed up in veg rack!

Well, I've been through everything again this morning, without help. The book is still nowhere to be seen but is definitely here - I asked for a hand with one clause of a badge so looked up when that was & it was 30th July. So after we broke up.

I'm not religious but I remember desperately searching for a brownie book as a kid (Brown Owl was strict) and eventually praying to find it and I did find it on a shelf in my room in amongst some clothes. You could try that!

Have you checked down the side of her bed?

We've had quite a few Brownies losing their badge books, my niece included. It was eventually found in her tip of a bedroom in the bag she decorated for the purpose. I did suggest to the girls to hang the badge book bag up with their uniform. Is this a possibility?

Check the cupboard under the stairs - I recently found two long standing missing things in there. (the go pro case and dds collection of nail varnishes)

TroysMammy I've checked all the bags - even my bag of bags I use to take in my Tesco shop. It's not in any of them. I think dd must have put it down and forgotten where; usually if it's not in use, it's on her desk or with my pile on the kitchen table.

Thingywhatsit the pantry is under the stairs so definitely not there - I emptied it all to clean out the other day.

@Groovee thank you, my friend has sent me pics of the badges we were going to do to keep us going for the moment :)

Get her to go to the place you were looking at it together, then have her pick up a book and carry it to where she thinks she took it. It might trigger a memory.

On a chair which is now tucked under a table/ desk and therefore out of sight?

Which room were you in last time you looked at it? Go back there and check again.

I know you (don’t panic only on MN!) it will be in a pile of fabric you’re currently turning into some incredible outfit for one of your DD’s!

Does she do any other activities? Just asking as I had lots of my brownies bringing their books in to be signed for their dance / performing badges towards the end of last term after our show, so was wondering if it could be hiding away in a ballet kit bag or something? Or did she take it in to school at the end of term to show her teacher?

The book has magically re-appeared...on the bottom shelf of dd2's bookshelf where we'd looked approx eleventy bazillion times already!
