Saturday morning; what's everyone up to today?

I'm drinking my usual peaceful cup of tea, can barely hear the birds over the wind though :( but I can hear my two doors up neighbour.

I'm waiting for the Sky person to come and sort my Sky tv out. Both girls are sock on -they stayed up late, having a sleepover in dd1's room.

Later on we're off to 'X by the sea' at a local working men's club (unless it pees it down!), dd1's going to sleepover at Nanna's, and myself and dd2 will probably watch a film of her choosing with some sweets.

What about everyone else?

Woke up early with baby, fed her changed her, set her in the bouncy chair and put on some music, bathed the tortoise, fed the cat, rabbits and said tortoise. Made breakfast. Saw the husband off to workDishes, housework, fed the baby about three times in between all that and changed from bouncer to play mat then to sling, all the while singing in funny voices and pulling faces to entertain her.

Now she’s down for a nap so enjoying a well deserved coffee and flapjack.

After we may look round the garden and sit with the rabbits depending on if it’s still raining, if not lots more play and prepare dinner ready for husbands return. Hopefully get a chance to chill out and spend some time with him when she goes down this evening.

Well, I went with two dd's and brought home one and a glittery AF unicorn Grin. It was fun but a bit dead -I suppose no-one wants to blow away at the pretend seaside.

Me and dd2 have been to the shop for snacks for later on, and I've just poured a Wine while I decide whether to get an early shower or do tea first.

OhHworking so Dog and I went on the bus from the seaside town we live in to seaside town down the road, and had egg roll and coffee (dog had coffee foam and some Meaty Chunks), big walk along beach until it got windy and blew sand in Dog's eyes (he is short). Visited a lovely memorial garden where Dog did a massive pee and had a drink of water, sauntered around nicknack shops. Bought some fudge and nougat for folks back home, and some dog treats for Dog, then went to wait for bus home. Dog wanted to get on every bus that pulled up- he really likes public transport. 20 min ride home, during which time Dog slept.

Saturday morning = parkrun. We were lucky as it stayed dry and while breezy, wasn't too bad.

Ah thank you @sittingonacornflake I really appreciated that!

(And I did drag my lazy ass to Spin & felt all the better for it! 😀)
