Saturday morning; what's everyone up to today?

I'm drinking my usual peaceful cup of tea, can barely hear the birds over the wind though :( but I can hear my two doors up neighbour.

I'm waiting for the Sky person to come and sort my Sky tv out. Both girls are sock on -they stayed up late, having a sleepover in dd1's room.

Later on we're off to 'X by the sea' at a local working men's club (unless it pees it down!), dd1's going to sleepover at Nanna's, and myself and dd2 will probably watch a film of her choosing with some sweets.

What about everyone else?

On the way to the airport with dh and Dd. Off to Japan - very excited about being there tomorrow. Less excited about the epic journey but it'll be worth it!

We are on holiday in Cornwall. Very very windy! I have been up since 6ish pottering about with coffee and toast and walking the dog to explore the village. Came back and have woke up DH and three Dds so we can go on a big windy coastal walk....lovely.

Got up for breakfast and came back to bed with a cuppa. Going to read my book for a bit and then maybe have another snooze! I'm going to chill today and then go out for pizza with a friend tonight.

Myself and DP are going to meet with a venue stylist and a photographer whilst Grandma comes to look after DS (13months).
This evening DP and I will probably watch a film together once DS is in bed!

I have dealt with various bodily fluids of pet origin and bathed two reluctant DCs. Will have a shower in a bit then start holiday packing. DH will be sent out to exercise the DCs into submission. Lunch- finishing up random stuff from the fridge. Family film later. Not very exciting but looking forward to our holiday so much!

Just finishing off 2nd bucket of tea, deciding what activities to do with dd(3) today. Enjoying a Saturday off as I work in retail so rare treat! Really should sort out old baby clothes but keep putting it off.

Back home after working away and DS2 has asked for brunch and board games, which we haven't done in ages. so that's the plan. then off to a party later. Looking forward to it. Had a brilliant day off work with DH and DS2 yesterday and feeling very happy! (Overshare)

@pollysproggle - do you have a recipe for red velvet cupcakes? That sound samazing. DS1s favourite but I've never tried making them.

Just back from a long walk with the dog and baby, cup of coffee then going to the market to buy an ox heart for the dogs dinners for the next week, then this afternoon taking dog, baby and a cake over to a friend's for afternoon tea

Got up and put washer on and tumble drier (annoying in August) and taken a green tea and honey toast back to bed. Was up in night with DS2 and sore legs

I usually use a recipe from an Eric Lanlard book but today have tried this recipe I found online from the hummingbird bakery

So far so good although I have overfilled some it seems and have some that have erupted!
I'll trim them off and slap on some icing, all will be fine! (Famous last words).

We are stuck in as the car broke down on Thursday and won’t be fixed until Monday
We went for a walk yesterday but it’s looking a bit wet for that today.

So Ds1 is playing, ds2 is pottering about and I’m about to go and do a clear out of their wardrobes.
Dh is tidying the cupboard under the stairs as we speak. I think it’s going to be a day of jobs today.

I am counting the hours down until ds gets back from scout camp! But not looking forward to the washing!!
And I’m making desserts for a family get together tomorrow at my mums. Merengue is in the oven and cheesecake base is chilling in the fridge.

Not much, woke up at 7ish and managed to get back to sleep for an extra hour which is rare. DH has just provided bacon rolls and tea, not so rare! We are off into town later to get the last minute bits for the kids going back to school on Wednesday

Sitting in the car waiting to board a ferry, having a week break and of course it looks like we picked the week it's going to rain all week to visit UK.

Travelling today. My son is in a concert tonight in Bavaria.Fingers crossed for him.Flying home tomorrow after an epic trip in Central Europe.

Lying by the pool on holiday! It's glorious weather so going to go for a dip in the pool soon.....Will just finish my cocktail first.

Lazy morning so far I'm mumsnetting,dh watching a (shit) film while ds plays upstairs.Going out for lunch then going into town to smell aftershaves/perfumes as we both want new ones

Up before 4 with DS who is now having a much needed 3 hour (so far!) nap. Then we are donning the wellies and waterproofs and walking to my parents for lunch.

I'm (sort of) getting camping stuff ready - we're heading off early in the morning - but alternating between this and sitting around drinking coffee and listening to the radio.

Still in pyjamas but I have put a wash on, baked a fruit loaf (which is in the oven and smelling good) and sorted the camping food and kitchen box out.

Ds1 is out paintballing with some friends, ds2 is playing minecraft, dh has nipped into town to get last minute bits, and we're visiting my mum later. The weather's rubbish but I might try and muster the energy to go for a run in a bit.

In bed nursing a hangover...

Another one on holiday here. Almost completed two weeks and about to go into the third.
Lazy day by the pool today as have been doing lots of walking and exploring in heat. (Greece)

Have had a lovely relaxing two weeks but a party of 19 have arrived at the complex yesterday and have been loud and obnoxious since they arrived. Arguing on the balcony until 3am and then up arguing again at 6. Then kids screaming in the pool at 6.45 (pool isn’t supposed to be used until 9am)! Hopefully just first day excitement as the thought of having to shut the shutters and windows is not a nice one.

Will enjoy my day with dh and the teens and try and not let the noise get to me.

We were at a wedding yesterday and didn't get home until nearly midnight, so DC slept until I woke them just after 9. Did some tidying. SIL has just collected them to go them to go and play with DN, so I will spend the day doing the supermarket shop, ironing, tidying, watch some tv I recorded.
