What are you all up to today?

We're off to Magna for the day so I'm just having my usual cup of tea in peace, listening to the birds outside, then off up to get the girls up.

There's sandwiches to make, and towels to pack so they can use the Aqua-tek area. Dd2 is very excited, she's never been before Grin.

What about you lovely lot? Anyone doing anything much? :)

Cup of tea.
Make a cauliflower cheese
Make an apple and cinnamon crumble
Do washing and ironing
Hoover
Keep on top of washing up
Cut lawns
Dead head plants in garden
Maybe go to the whatever it is on the sea front if I can find the enthusiasm for crowds
Glad it's a day off!

I’m at work but hoping for a lovely dinner cooked by DH and an evening drinking wine by the chimenea - we haven’t lit it yet this year and it’s long overdue!

I've been up since 4:30am with DD and then DS joined us at 5 to 6 so the day feels like it's been long enough already!
One DH gets up and we've got dressed properly I've got laundry to hang out and beds to strip and make and then we'll probably head into town to get new library books for DS and get a coffee somewhere.
There's a summer event at DS's nursery today so we might go to that after for a play and then home for a chilled afternoon round the house.
We don't spend a lot of time at home so I'm quite looking forward to it Grin

Dh at work so 7 mile solo walk for me this morning. Brunch somewhere...back to clean 3 bathrooms and iron. Out tonight for cocktails.

DH had a minor accident at home yesterday, he fainted from the pain levels and was in minor shock. He is ok this morning but having a very quiet day. Going to watch some films and hopefully book our holiday accommodation. Do some minor tidying and game on my console.

I need to clean EVERYTHING. The whole house is a tip and is so dusty. Front garden needs a good sort out too. Cinema tonight. My previously angelic 13 yr old has turned into a bloody nightmare the last few days so if all I achieve is not throttling her, it will be a successful day.

I am (trying to) have a peaceful coffee in the garden to get me started for the day, then I am going to look at a new car with dh, which almost counts as a date as it's so rare for us to go out alone without any dc Grin.

We are going to a National Trust. This is my first weekend off work in a very long time, so we are actually going to go and do something together. Currently waiting for people to get up, only DD2 and I are up, DD1 and DH still in bed. Really need to do some ironing later before DD2 runs out of t-shirts.

We were planning to be ready around now to head off a drive to the fairground but we haven't even had breakfast yet. And still need to bath the DC before we leave. This happens all the time no matter what I plan!

I'm still in holiday mode after returning yesterday . I normally jam pack my weekends with chores / having family time /chilling so I don't feel like rushing today . Lots of washing to do and tidying up , later meeting friends for cocktails so should be good .

Coffee, then a poo then I’m nipping into the city centre to get a few last minute things for my controversial AI holiday for which we are flying out to tomorrow at 6.00am.
Keep your fingers crossed for me that the beautician has a last minute space to give me an emergency thatch wax; it’s like a bear trapper’s hat.

I am in hospital recovering from a double mastectomy. It is cheering to hear about people doing nice things 😊

Helping at a carnival- not quite sure what that means yet Grin.

Lots going on at home as the decorators have been here for two weeks and we are going into a third - trying to keep on top of the dust in the rooms that are done/are not being done as it gives me asthma.

My entire clothes collection is on the spare bed, I should look at that at some point and put them away - grim.

Currently waiting for dh and teenage dd to get up. I’ve been up since 6am with ds aged 7 (who has autism and never sleeps so 6am is a lie in)! I’m so used to getting up early now and I getting cabin fever waiting for everyone else to get up so we can do something. Might go and watch Angry Birds later and run about the park.

Boring, ordinary things.

I'll be tagging along to DH's dentist's appointment, and we'll do some shopping afterwards. Then there's laundry and other household stuff do to. I've downloaded a new audio book to make it all nicer.

Honestly? I'm still not out of bed yet 🙈

DP and DD went to see an early movie and I didn't sleep well, so I'm still lying in bed thinking about all the things that need doing. 5 more minutes?.... We're thinking of trying for a baby soon, so I'm soaking up as much of this time as possible. Shame you can't bank it Grin

Went to a festival last night, feeling knackered and slightly jaded this morning. I need to clean the house, do some washing, bit of a tidy. DH and DS off to watch the football this afternoon, and I've said I'd take DD into town for some new summer sandals and shorts. Then she's off to the same festival tomorrow.

Up since early, with ds as he's off to camp for a week. Dropped him off at 9, home, made and ate pancakes. I've just pegged some washing out and I'm about to take dd horse riding. Then we will come home and change and go out somewhere this afternoon as it's just the two of us.

I loved taking my step daughter to Magna.

I have just cleared the garden bed outside my kitchen door, and am planting it up with herbs and lovely things, then going to the allotment to sieve out the rest of the potatoes, and then I'll have another bed to plant up.

A quick shop as our delivery substituted something that we need with something we don't use, and then back home for some sofa time and OITNB, pizza and potato salad with the freshly harvested potatoes and then more OITNB this evening.
