We're off to Magna for the day so I'm just having my usual cup of tea in peace, listening to the birds outside, then off up to get the girls up.

There's sandwiches to make, and towels to pack so they can use the Aqua-tek area. Dd2 is very excited, she's never been before .

What about you lovely lot? Anyone doing anything much? :)

Mind sharing the Apple/Cinnamon crumble recipe

Apples (obviously) not peeled just sliced in slow cooker.
About ''that much'' of cinnamon,mixed spice and nutmeg in with the apples plus about ''that much'' of brown sugar.
Leave till cooked.

Crumble
2 cups plain flour
1 cup demarera sugar
100g (ish) unsalted butter
Mix till it looks like breadcrumbs

Apples into dish
Crumble on top
Oven at about 180 (fan assisted)
15 mins.

Serve with custard.

My Gran's reciepe - except she used a saucepan not slow cooker.

We've already taken DD to her dance class and she is now napping. I'll be waking her up soon so we can go to her playgroup picnic and then we're at a BBQ later this afternoon. When DD has gone to bed, me and DH are packing the car ready to go on holiday in the morning.

Having a drink or few
Chilling in front of tv with whatever movie dh chooses
Mite fit in an afternoon nap amongst the list if possible

School starts again on Monday for DS - so he's doing his washing (full loads) and I try to get him to prepare is stuff. He'll enter his last two years and everything counts towards the final grades.
DD enjoys her last two days of being a pupil.
DH is writing again and I did the kitchen, the flowers, the cat litter, cooked our midday meal, did my revision and now I am waiting for my work ethics to kick me towards the bathroom. It needs cleaning - white floor tiles.
