And I have 5 pictures off the wall, one smashed, two ripped canvasses, one broken vase, one broken stair, curtains off the rail, one broken door lock, two lost remote controls, no chargers to be seen anywhere, 5 excess rubbish bags of recycling, at least 10 broken plants, one pissed off neighbour and I haven’t even looked in the bedrooms yet.

I'd send them a bill for the damage they've caused & tell them they've been an absolute disgrace, trashing your home & belongings & that next time they're in the area fell free to book themselves a hotel.
No normal person causes that level of damage. If they can't respect you & your home they've no business being there.

Whoopstheregomyinsides · 24/07/2019 14:51

The chargers would get me the most cross but it’s a pet peeve of mine!

HollowTalk · 24/07/2019 14:52

How come you didn't let them have it with both barrels when the first thing broke?

MrsSiriusBlack1 · 24/07/2019 14:52

That’s bloody awful!! Who treats someone’s home like that?! They wouldn’t be getting back anytime soon, arseholes 😐

MrsSiriusBlack1 · 24/07/2019 14:53

How did they break a stair?!

ZeroFuchsGiven · 24/07/2019 14:54

How old is Your Son? I actually fell sorry for him that you have allowed him to witness this behaviour and not protect him in his own home.

Deathraystare · 24/07/2019 14:56

Now I am clumsy and tend to break stuff but even I wouldn't do that much damage. That's what you get for inviting Gengis Khan's marauding hordes!!!!

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 24/07/2019 14:56

Were they drunk?!

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 24/07/2019 14:57

Has there been a lot of drinking?

Deathraystare · 24/07/2019 14:57

Actually I am very careful in anyone else's place. Think of Hyacinth Bucket's ndn - Elizabeth, that is me!!!

RedTideBlues · 24/07/2019 14:58

The would not be invited a second time to mine.

Deathraystare · 24/07/2019 14:58

How is the neighbour pissed off? was it noise pollution or car parking or something else???

marvellousnightforamooncup · 24/07/2019 14:58

Were they playing football inside?

DobbinsVeil · 24/07/2019 14:59

Yikes! Did you have the Incredibles family to stay? I mean, they cause a lot of damage but also keep the planet free of baddies so it's swings and roundabouts tbh.

ineedaholidaynow · 24/07/2019 15:02

What age were your visitors?

Did they say anything about the damage they have caused.

One thing is for sure they wouldn't be coming back to my house.

StCharlotte · 24/07/2019 15:03

Were they cats?

Although I can't see cats doing the recycling.

cuppycakey · 24/07/2019 15:04

eH? [Confused]

Stillstrawberrywater · 24/07/2019 15:05

Did they even acknowledge all the broken and missing items before they left? If not, then that is bad form and they would be crossed off my xmas card list

Apolloanddaphne · 24/07/2019 15:06

Surely if they are guests in your house you could have stopped them damaging stuff? They would have felt the full force of my tongue if they were in my house!

Aquamarine1029 · 24/07/2019 15:06

You can't be serious that you allowed this behaviour in your home. It sounds like a prison riot .

Blatherskite · 24/07/2019 15:06

How on earth do you break a stair!?!

That's above and beyond 'wear and tear' even for the most heavy handed of people surely? I hope they left only after ensuring you were going to be letting them know what the bill was!

All of you list should be above and beyond acceptable when you're a guest in someone else's home.

Pinkyyy · 24/07/2019 15:07

Did you have a party?

Ninkaninus · 24/07/2019 15:08

Are they giant, overgrown toddlers?? Because that’s the only scenario in which this could ever be acceptable. Please tell me you’re going to bill them for the damage.

Justaboy · 24/07/2019 15:09

Your not a Orangutan whos just had some rellies staying?

averylongtimeago · 24/07/2019 15:09

Well, you won't be hosting them again, will you?
