Let him do it! It'll grow back.

BigStripeyBastard · 22/07/2019 18:40

Ah, let him shave it if he wants to, it's only hair. It'll grow back if he hates it.

blogsbunny · 22/07/2019 18:42

His hair is gorgeous- but I also say if he wants to shave his head, let him do it! Hair grows back and it's fun to be young and play with different styles. Grin

captainprincess · 22/07/2019 18:44

Aww he is lovely hair and what a lovely looking lad. But I think you have to let him do it, it may suit him and if it doesn't it will quickly grow back. We learn from our mistakes. How old is he?

hairymclairie · 22/07/2019 18:45

How old is he? I say let him do it, I think it could suit him.

Boyskeepswinging · 22/07/2019 18:47

Given the weather forecast for this week I'd say it's the ideal time to shave your head. It'll grow back quick enough if he doesn't like it.

BertrandRussell · 22/07/2019 18:48

Obviously I can’t stop him! I was hoping for cast iron arguments against. He’s working with young children- do you think I could tell him it would scare them?

Equatoria · 22/07/2019 18:51

Tell him he will get a sunburnt head unless he puts sun cream on his head stubble each day?

Dowser · 22/07/2019 18:51

Lovely looking young man
I hope he doesn’t

BertrandRussell · 22/07/2019 18:52

Sunburn! Hadn’t thought of that!

Bunnyhop1502 · 22/07/2019 18:53

Tell him chicks dig curls!

Sunburntnoseandears · 22/07/2019 18:54

He really suits his hair! My dh has curly hair, shaved it off, looks ok for a week then odd looking waves appear!

CollaterlyS1sters · 22/07/2019 18:55

It will make him look fat.

Dh was shaven headed when we first got together. He looked like a massive fat headed bald giant.

Soola · 22/07/2019 19:00

He looks old enough to make his own mistakes!

BertrandRussell · 22/07/2019 19:05

“He looks old enough to make his own mistakes!“
Of course he is. Maybe i’ll tell him
I’ll cry.....
The only think that’s made him pause is realising that he won’t look
like James Acaster any more.

BendydickCuminsnatch · 22/07/2019 19:07

Ah let him do it. I’m tempted myself in the heat 😄 DH has a shaved head an he certainly doesn’t scare kids 😄

bettydaviseyes1 · 22/07/2019 19:07

So handsome :)

He'll look good either way, hair grows back, chill - if he likes it great, if he hates it then he'll know he should have listened

DontCallMeShitley · 22/07/2019 19:11

It would be a shame if he did.
It would be a shame if he hated it.
It would be really unpleasant if he got sunburn on his head.
There will very likely be a line where he has caught the sun which will show up if there is no hair.

BertrandRussell · 22/07/2019 19:11

Ha. I have more persuasion time. His girlfriend has chickened out of doing it so he’ll have to wait to gotni the barber tomorrow.
I’ve told him i’ll keep stroking his head because it’ll remind me of his baby hair.......

OP posts:
Boyskeepswinging · 22/07/2019 19:20

That'll do it!Grin

Toddlerteaplease · 22/07/2019 19:30

I hate how shaved heads look. But they do feel lovely!

BertrandRussell · 22/07/2019 19:33

“There will very likely be a line where he has caught the sun which will show up if there is no hair”
Now that’’s a good one!

People will think he’s got nits.

Herocomplex · 22/07/2019 19:37

CollaterlyS1sters I just laughed til I cried at that description.
My DH once came home with clippers ‘to save money on haircuts*. He looked like a mass murderer, and only did it once thank god.

LadyOfTheCanyon · 22/07/2019 19:38

Ahhh let him do it, it's not permanent. And if he looks daft he'll never do it again. He looks cherubic. Is it a reaction against looking too goody goody?
