It is a sad day, but I think I finally have to retire my trusty Birkenstock's. They have served me well for the last 7 years, but the cork has split, I've nearly walked through the foam and frankly they're becoming a health-hazard
The trouble is the sizing has rubbed off and I can't remember whether they are a 38 or 39. I've tried both sizes on on the shop, but neither feel 'right' because they are stiff and new. I'm not near anywhere that stocks them so I haven't had the chance to match them up against a new pair.
They measure about 27cm from centre heel to big toe along the sole. Can anyone help me figure out what size they used to be?
They have '60 2Y' embossed on the insole, but I don't know if that helps with sizing
