Dig by Incubus, not only amazing lyrics but a beautiful, beautiful song. I'm on long term, high dose steroids and I get pretty ragey sometimes. DH usually bears the brunt of it, but never complains because he knows it's not me. Usually when I've calmed down, we drive to McDonald's for a milkshake and every time, without fail, he will put this song on in the car and put his hand on my knee. I normally dissolve into a blubbering wreck at that point, another fabulous side effect of pred.

I'm a fair bit older than my DW so Wherever you will go by The Calling resonates deeply with me .......

Our six year old is growing up so fast, in fact she is seven today
and the years are flying by so so fast and every time I hear this song dread the time she leaves home or moves on in life, when I know this is how it has to be.

My eldest child is 18 and this song used to get me from when he was just a few weeks old as I knew the day would come when he didn't need me anymore. And he hasn't needed or wanted me for several years now.
