Going to hang my washing out tonight

Since I've got to go to work early in the morning, I'm going to run the risk of spiders wiping their little penises on my socks and hang it out before bed. It's going to get darked on, and I don't even care.

I do it all the time. Don't care about spider Willie's.

wheresmyhairytoe · 01/07/2019 21:56

Willies even.

refusetobeasheep · 01/07/2019 21:56

All the spiders round mine are already heading round yours. They're that excited.

Minkies11 · 01/07/2019 21:57

Can see spiders dragging their willies on mine as I type. It's DH's clothes though...Grin
I did warn him....

notapizzaeater · 01/07/2019 21:57

I do this all the time as well, it's normally dry by the time I get up in the morning and I can get another load out.

4under4our · 01/07/2019 21:58

I always hang my washing out at night!

LorelaiRoryEmily · 01/07/2019 21:58

I do it all the time. Not socks though. Things can get inside socks and hide😝

BrightSpells · 01/07/2019 22:01

Never understood why people are funny about this.

I know a woman who will only have washing out overnight so the clothes aren't ruined by the sun.

I have stuff hanging out for days because I'm lazy.

CountFosco · 01/07/2019 22:01

Mine is out as well, no time to hang it out in the morning so it festered in the utility room all day and I hung it out when I got home. I'm more worried about pigeon poo than spider willies and that it more likely to happen during the day.

Biancadelrioisback · 01/07/2019 22:05

Can someone please explain the spider willies?

LittleWalnutTree · 01/07/2019 22:05

I can't hang my washing out at all because my rotary dryer is broken and I need a new one.

Sharptic · 01/07/2019 22:08

I often leave mine out overnight.

This morning I found two sleeping moths in my towels while bringing it in. So give everything a little shake to get rid of any critters

DartmoorDoughnut · 01/07/2019 22:11

Didn’t you see the thread about the bat tick 😱 😂

Biancadelrioisback · 01/07/2019 22:14

Bat tick?

gamerchick · 01/07/2019 22:14

Gasp. Darked on! Spider willies! You have all the nads man Grin

PanamaPattie · 01/07/2019 22:14

Spider willies, bat ticks and being darked on. Three very good reasons why I never hang washing out after the sun has set.

HalyardHitch · 01/07/2019 22:14

I have two loads of washing out there and can't be arsed to bring it in

DartmoorDoughnut · 01/07/2019 22:16

It was on the poster’s towel @Biancadelrioisback

ExpletiveDelighted · 01/07/2019 22:18

I do it all the time too.

yearinyearout · 01/07/2019 22:33

Hm, I missed the post about the bat tick but I'm in bed now so I'm going to have to risk it.

OP posts:
Biancadelrioisback · 01/07/2019 23:22

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa why was there no warning?!?!
But someone please enlighten me about spider willies and being darked on?

DartmoorDoughnut · 02/07/2019 06:22

@Biancadelrioisback sorry! I’ve reported my post Grin

NoWordForFluffy · 02/07/2019 06:23

Standard practice here. I don't get the angst! 🕷

lotusbell · 02/07/2019 06:31

Thanks for the bat tick link. Lying in bed, about to get up and first job is to go and check my darked on washing!!! Wish me luck!
