What do I need to buy from John Lewis?

I received £150 of John Lewis vouchers unexpectedly. Wise people of Mumsnet, what should I buy with it? It's a lot of money to me, so I don't want to waste it (I mean by using it for stuff for the kids etc like I usually would)!

I suggested bedding because I love it. I probably buy one new nice set a year and spend a lot on it.
The voucher needs to be spent on something...
I don’t particularly like the clothes from JL so I go in there for things like nice glasses and bedding. The one closest to me also has a good beauty department.
However, I would probably spend the vouchers on my food shop so not really relevant here.

And buying bedding is buying something for myself - it’s for me to sleep in and on!!

I used to get them from a place I worked for a Christmas bonus, and I would use them to buy posh food from Waitrose. Nice cheeses, wine, salmon, that sort of thing.

Another one for bedding I’m afraid. It’s fabulous

Get a personal shopper if clothes are your thing and let them choose and suggest for you. You don't have to buy anything, but you might be pleasantly surprised by their choices.

Ex partner here.
The giftcards are 24 months from date of purchase (if its gift card, vouchers don't expire) but everytime it is scanned that 24 month resets, so if there is nothing you want, keep hold of them and just keep an eye out. If you're worried about the card expiring, pop in and ask them to balance check, the receipt with the balance will give you your new expiry date.
I hope you find something to treat yourself to!

I'd add a bit to it and get a Dyson hairdryer.

I suggested a towel because having a bath is one of my favourite things, and it's lovely to have a new towel especially for myself. I'd see it as a huge treat to go and choose one, with money no object.

A fab pair of shoes or some nice perfume

What did you do?
Or are you saving them fir a future treat?

See this is old thread Hmm but I agree with nice bedding, silk pillow cases, luxury duvet or topper. Spend half our day in bed!
