Are there any gay parents in your kids school?

I’ve just been wondering. DS’s school is about 1500 people, and obviously I don’t know everyone, but due to my job, I’ve dealt with a huge chunk of the school. However, none, that I know of, are pupils with gay parents.

I was just wondering how common same sex families are? Perhaps it’s because I’m in ruralish scotland. I’d think it’d be more common in London or Edinburgh

At DD’s, there are 2 families that I know of, and one I remember who left a year ago. There must be more though.

At DS’s, I don’t know of any, but I know far fewer parents there. One gay teacher who has just had a baby with her partner, and is leaving at the end of term.

@Amibeingdaft81 DS only attends nursery when we're in Israel, as my work commitments are different than when we're in Saudi. The nursery is very hands on, and there is an expectation of parents and extended families being heavily involved - so we see everyone, frequently. Is that what you meant? Sorry if that doesn't answer the question!
