I'm drinking coffee, then going to empty my fish tank.

Dd2 has just done some glass painting so is tidying up the kitchen table. No idea what she plans to do next.

Dd1 is watching Youtube in bed.

What's going on at yours?

I'm drinking wine, listening to Muse with my boyfriend, dog is randomly barking at nothing, not quite step-daughter is playing on her iPad. Cat is probably asleep somewhere.

DH is working - deadline looming again -
DS is on summer vacation i. e. lounging about with books and PC games
DD has finished school and relaxes before deciding what to do
DCat is asleep on the terasse
and I am on annual leave, currently eating ice cream

GreenFieldsofFrance · 22/06/2019 20:40

I'm having a glass of wine in the garden while dh puts kids to bed and waiting for dinner to cook (ready to cook chicken with rice and coleslaw). Going to start Gomorrah season 4 tonight and gearing up to a late spring clean tomorrow.

MondeoFan · 22/06/2019 20:43

Just finished eating Chinese, DD1 at Guide Camp, DD2 asleep in bed so it's just me and dog watching tv

Stravapalava · 22/06/2019 21:22

DH has been hungover all day and now he's lying on the sofa in front of Casualty. He has loads of episodes on the planner to catch up on.

I've got my footner on!

DCat is lounging around lording it over us all, looking extremely cute and a bit hopeful for more food.

DC have been in bed for a while. When we were putting DD1 to bed, we noticed DD2 had gone and got her dressing gown, put it on and now she's lying under the covers sweltering! We pulled the covers off of course!

OP when you originally posted I was at my Elderly Dads as I am every Saturday morning. My DD18 was at her boyfriends having worked a late shift at her restaurant job. My DS was doing a disappearing act because he didn't want to go out with his Dad, my XH.

This evening I took DS our for a burger and we had a good and honest chat. Now we are home - he's gaming and I'm watching Love island. Dd will be home after 1am from her late shift. She's earning a shed load from a high end restaurant which will be a good nest egg for uni.

DC's not long in bed after a lovely evening in 'beer garden with play area'

DH watching Patriot Day, Cat asleep covering my new kitchen sofa with cat hair, I found out earlier that I'd won £18 so have just managed to complete the Krypton Factor challenge of getting the discount codes off Tastecard to book tickets, with seats together, at a reasonable time at our local Odeon for Toy Story 4 when it's pissing down, again, tomorrow. It seems that many, many people have had the same idea!

So the DC are very happy and I'm procrastinating on here before sorting out the washing.

love this thread. really interesting to read what people do day to day and how other families function.

im back in bed again (been in it most of the day, poorly)

Dd2 - (8 weeks) lying sleeping next to me.
Dd1 - (2) asleep in her room

DH outside having beers and getting rid of old wood in a burner

floraloctopus · 23/06/2019 07:46

I'm still in bed but should have been up two hours ago.
I still have the lesson planning to finish, have reports to write, laundry to do and housework. This day is 48 hours long isn't it ?

MaybeitsMaybelline · 23/06/2019 07:50

This time yesterday I’d walked five miles and was in Morrisons. Right now Dh and I are on our iPads in bed with a cat between us washing his bum.

confusedofengland · 23/06/2019 08:18

DH got up at 6.30 to be at a football fun day he's running today at 7.30. He'll be there until at least 6pm Hmm It's all voluntary.

This leaves me to look after the 3 Dses (5, 8 ASD, 10) all day. Normally it's only every Saturday morning & every Sunday morning so he's surpassed himself this time! Really fed up with football, does the season ever end?

Giggorata · 23/06/2019 08:22

DH has just gone downstairs to make tea. We are going to a massive car boot sale, then painting the gates and garden furniture.

Totostillrock · 23/06/2019 08:39

I'm liking this thread, I always imagine (probably due to what I see on FB) that everyone else is busy with hectic social lives and doing amazing activities / days out at weekends, while we're usually at home feeling nackered and it's a combo of chilling out as a family and getting chores done before the next week starts again!

S0CKS · 23/06/2019 08:43

Giving dh silent treatment for being a p*ick last night made breckfast for myself and neglected to make his.

CherryPavlova · 23/06/2019 08:43

My husband is out running the dog for an hour or so. I’m in bed hoping my tea won’t be long. No commitments until lunchtime when we’re meeting my sister in law and her husband along with one of our daughters and her fiancé for a pub lunch. A lovely lazy morning reading the papers in bed.

Roselinemac · 23/06/2019 09:05

Dd friends have stayed for a sleepover so in her room. Ds is moaning because he wants to go and annoy them sit with them, he is in my bed watching YouTube. Dh just brought a cup of tea for me and is making breakfast.
