I'm drinking coffee, then going to empty my fish tank.

Dd2 has just done some glass painting so is tidying up the kitchen table. No idea what she plans to do next.

Dd1 is watching Youtube in bed.

What's going on at yours?

DH is faffing in the garden/shed/garage

DD (20) and DS (14) are about to go out for a run.

I’m just settling down to binge watch some Drag Race.

BIL and MIL coming over later for takeaway. Lovely relaxed Saturday.

My cat is birdwatching through the window.
She's too scared to actually go outside (nervous rescue).

Dd2 and DSS have just left for a posh event, wafting beautiful perfume, rocking amazing outfits and looking gorgeous. DH is about to bath the dog. I'm about to go for an hours walk in the fields, having half hour on phone with DD1 and DS away at university. I predict it'll be 5 mins with him, 55 with her as hes on his lunch break at work. Today is a good day!

I'm lying in bed with the cat (five hours behind so 9.30am so not as quite the lazy slattern as if I was in UK.)

DH is getting ready to leave with DS. They're picking up some friends of ours who are flying up in their own plane from New York and DS will get to have a little fly in the plane so he's pretty excited (and noisy).

Ddog is whining for a walk and I'm pretending I can't hear her.

I need to get up and water the garden and greenhouse but really just can't be arsed to do a thing today, the first week of school holidays has been full on and if it's indicative of the next 11 weeks I'm going to take the down time whenever I get it!!!

DS is having his afternoon nap, DP is playing a computer game and I'm procrastinating tidying the living room, aka sitting on the sofa on Mumsnet.

Dp is at work, I am eating a subway salad in front of the tv and dd is upstairs saving her stuffed toys from batgirl

Nowt.

The most exciting thing is that I am waiting for some vanish carpet cleaning stuff to dry so I can hoover it up. Not convinced it's going to get the bloody turmeric stain out though!

Sat on sofa with coffee and biscuits, dieting postponed, after a few hours gardening. Now waiting for the sun to reappear so I can then go back out and sit in the garden with a book and nice chilled glass of cider 🌻

DH is out getting the car washed and then popping to pick me up a fan for our bedroom as I seem to be waking up boiling most nights

DD1 is out shopping with her friends, DD2 is painting with her watercolours in the garden, I've been busy catching up on house work after a manic week and I'm now laying on a sun lounger in the glorious sun.

I’ve been cluster feeding dd2 (3 weeks) since 7am, dp is at work, ds2 (2) is pulling every toy out of their boxes, dd1 (15) and ds1 (14) are playing cards while they’re waiting til it’s time leave to go to the cinema to see Toy Story 4

I have the telly on, not really watching and don't know why I switched it on. Something about nightmare neighbours.

Husband just talking (bellowing!) on his phone to our son who is on his way home from abroad.

Have a wash in the machine. Doorbell just rang, courier with something I ordered.

Cats asleep somewhere.

Im making coconut cakes.. ds 1 messing on the piano.. ds2 texting his friends.. dh at work.. later will go out to the park!

My children are out with my parents so I've been doing housework and now relaxing in the bath. The cat is sitting on the edge of the bath knocking all my stuff off 🙄. Trying to enjoy my last hour or two before the delightful angels get back andmake the house look worse than it did before I tidied up 🤯

Shower broke so I am fixing it. Now soaked and cold as I pressed a button by mistake

The turmeric stain is faded but still quite visible. Plan B is to move the rug a bit

I've just done all the house work and brought in a load of towels from the line. Planted some flowers in the front garden. Waiting for ds sheets to finish so I can get them out on the line. Sitting in the sun for now. Dh is making dips for tea ds 8 is playing in the street with his friends

I’m slowly starving under a sleeping baby.

I’m sat on the sofa procrastinating on mumsnet (I should be working) with a Capri sun and a bag of Colin the Caterpillar sweets and listening to Biffy Clyro at the Isle of White festival.

We're just back from shopping in town, DS(8) is upstairs on the Xbox, DD(6) is doing Hama Beads in the KITCHEN with Moana in the background, I'm watching the Tory leadership hustings having just finished watching the F1 qualifying. DH is on his way home from work and then I'll walk down to sainsburys with DD to see if they have anything left for a BBQ

I have just got back from work . Contemplating afternoon glass of wine in sun. DP is working until 11pm. I should be sorting out things for holiday on Monday but can't be bothered.

Dh is working all weekend migrating data for one of the companies he supports (garden office so at home).
Dd is drawing and listening to stuff on her laptop, waiting for her gf to turn up.
Ds is still in bed, but might get up soon as next doors doors keep slamming in the wind ;)
Dd is in bed with severe pmt :(
I have got all the washing done, and am about to start birthday present shopping for ed, but we had fil round this morning and he said that ed's degree wasn't really worth anything as her uni isn't really a proper one, so am still raging a bit. She got a 1st with honours ffs! How dare he.
Anyway, all quiet for now.

Lesson planning...very slowly. Not feeling the motivation yet despite having masses to plan.

Fish tank is now empty, and drying out. Needs about £150 spending on it to replace damaged bits. Need to decide whether to save up & fill it again, or sell it on. Dd2 says get a goldfish but no.

We've just got back from shopping and lunch in town. I'm putting it away and DH is hanging washing in the garden. Then he's going to stack a load of wood in the shed, followed by a doze.
I'm supposed to be putting up a shelf but instead I'm on here, contemplating a binge watch of something.....
It all sounds really boring, but after the hectic fortnight we've had, it is sheer bliss...

We’re just back from watching some seals get released back to the sea at the beach 5mins away. We are now having a salad in the sun room!!bliss!!
