Can anyone recommend something?
The problem is that he's in that in between stage. Lots of the 12 rating series are too young but I'm not comfortable watching 15's with him.

Can be anything really, comedy, drama, sci fi?

All the Star Treks. They're like a kinder gentler Black Mirror, particularly next generation and voyager.

Xiaoxiong · 08/06/2019 20:13

Oh and Buffy the Vampire Slayer!!

MidsomerBurgers · 08/06/2019 20:15

Ghosts on BBC iplayer. From the Horrible Histories lot.

6 half hour episodes. Season 2 has just been announced.

My 13 year old like Modern Family, Father Ted, The IT Crowd and Friday Night Dinner.

MGgirl · 08/06/2019 20:16

Ghosts from me as well.
DS suggested it and I loved it as well. Glad to hear Season 2 is going ahead

WisestIsShe · 08/06/2019 20:18

Dd(12) and I are enjoying Good Omens on Amazon prime.

Teddybear45 · 08/06/2019 20:18

Sabrina.

MrsSpenserGregson · 08/06/2019 20:19

Uncle. Can't remember if it's on player, Netflix or Amazon Prime. It's fantastic.

Oh, and The Good Place.

cornflakegirl · 08/06/2019 20:20

Good Omens!
IT Crowd, Stranger Things, Futurama, Firefly.

PinkDandelions · 08/06/2019 20:20

Umbrella Academy on Netflix? I think is rated 13 or 14 - superhero drama but there is some violence and references to drug use

ffs74 · 08/06/2019 20:28

Friday night dinner! Hilarious and I think all 5 series are on all4. My dc absolutely love it

MrsSpenserGregson · 08/06/2019 20:32

Ooh yes, Friday Night Dinner is wonderful! Lovely bit of squirrel Grin

TheSandman · 08/06/2019 20:35

My 13 year old DD and I are watching the rebooted Battlestar Galactica together. Though I see you're nervous about 15s so maybe not There are some sexual elements. DD has the hots for The actress playing Starbuck and the Actor playing Apollo and during the scene where they finally tore each other's clothes off I really suspect she stopped breathing for 5 minutes.

Previously series we have enjoyed together: Buffy. Xena the Warrior Princess. Torchwood (we abandoned the last season after 2 episodes it was shite). Various Doctor Whos.

Oh Stargate! Great fun. That'll keep you going for years!

Monr0e · 08/06/2019 20:36

DS is 12 almost 13. He is loving Good Omens at the minute.

Second also Stranger Things and he really enjoyed Grimm and Shadow Hunters

butteryellow · 08/06/2019 20:37

Sabrina HELL NO - 16 year-olds having orgies? Frankly I'm surprised it's even acceptable for adults to watch!

TheSandman · 08/06/2019 20:37

and I'd second Firefly. Which is utter genius and DD LOVED! So much so that she cosplays as Kaylee at Comic Cons.

whatthewhatthewhat · 08/06/2019 20:40

Buffy? Really? She loses her virginity to a hundred year old vampire who them goes psycho and tries to kill her?!

Lol

Also, Star Trek next generation has some questionable episodes!
Flash and Arrow, maybe?

Malcom In the middle and The middle and Young Sheldon!

MidsomerBurgers · 08/06/2019 20:42

Oh yes, Father Ted.

Go on, go on, go on, go on, go on.......

SisterMaryLoquacious · 08/06/2019 20:50

SisterMaryLoquacious · 08/06/2019 20:51

Old Poirots are frequently repeated on one of the ITVs and are still fun and age-appropriate

gingercat02 · 08/06/2019 20:55

We've just started Merlin but as is almost 11 so maybe too young

onedayiwillmissthis · 08/06/2019 20:57
