GP has told me I’m likely getting another one in next while - I had one in 2011 and all I remember was screaming after while passing blood clots and black urine , and no pain relief except paracetomal .
I’m absolutely terrified of the same happening again ... GP said I will be anesthetised or at the very least sedated , but I’m not too chuffed ...
In the meantime I’m to up self catheterising to 6 times a day or so :-( - I only pee 2/3 times a day which GP says means I’m risking reflux ... I can’t cope with the catheters , due to sexual assault I don’t like anything down there . I’ve managed to tear myself when catheterising before so very wary of doing it again . Can’t see anything either as the ‘hole’ is sort of too far inside .
Don’t suppose there’s any advice anyone can really offer , I’m just fucked off about the whole thing and no one to talk to really.
