All inclusive holiday

I feel like I’ve exhausted my search and I’m being incredibly fussy. Can anyone recommend any decent all inclusive holidays in Europe for the summer? Ideally with a separate bedroom instead of one big room. Somewhere where I don’t need to fight for sun beds preferably! Thanks.

Ikos Olivia or Ikos....can't remember the other one. (Oceana?) Both in Halkidiki I think. Been meaning to go for years b

youarenotkiddingme · 08/05/2019 18:26

What you find is holidays seem to be cheap in different areas on different years!

This year costa Del sol seems to be cheapest place to travel and costa brava has gone up.

Menorca is expensive and although Majorca is still reasonable it's far more expensive than it was a few years ago.

Have you used sites like jet2 or on the beach? I find them the cheapest.

Ds and I have costa Del sol, week in August half board on 4* hotel, 75m from beach for £1100 with excellent flight times.

Issey I'm going to Torreblanca! I've been to Benalmadena and it's beautiful and we will visit the port when we are there!

Fannybaws52 · 08/05/2019 18:30

Look on Jet2. Prices are great and you can filter down to view best deals. They include everything inc baggage.

Majorca and Portugal have great deals.

thekingfisher · 08/05/2019 18:31

baobab suites in tenerife - great hotel/apartment really unusual set up - google it and I'm sure you will find it fits the bill!

Bunnylady53 · 08/05/2019 18:37

We stayed at Zafiro Can Picafort, Majorca & it was fantastic. Would go all inclusive next time & use the kids club. Got upgraded to a swim up apartment which we loved.

mumsolihull · 08/05/2019 18:43

We've just come back from 3GB Clube Humbria in the Algarve. Food was great, loads of choice at every meal, and excellent quality. Lots for the kids to do, great water park area & kids club. Huge 1 bedroom apartment which was nicely decorated. Very reasonably priced! The staff were amazing and so friendly. The resort it's based in was quiet (which is what we wanted!) but only 10 mins drive from Albufeira. We had a wonderful time! www.jet2holidays.com/portugal/algarve/olhos-dagua/3hb-clube-humbria

We are heading to a riu in tenerife next week which has fab reviews and paid 1200 for a family of 3 AI for the week. Also stayed at gran oasis resort there which was great.

droppinglikeflies · 08/05/2019 18:49

A friend booked seashells resort in Malta.
She paid under 2k for a week all inclusive in the summer holidays for 4 of them.
They have separate kids bedrooms in the family rooms.
I almost joined them (at their request not gate crashing!!!)
Egypt is coming it at £1500 for a week all inclusive in May half term too if that helps.

We are going here. We’ve been once before and absolutely loved it. It is German focused so as long as you don’t mind that then it’s great. The food was excellent, nice beach nearby (though part of it was nudist!) with loads of water sports, lovely pools etc. Can’t wait to go back Grin

We've stayed at Louis hotels the last few years, they are mainly Greece and Cyprus. Not too big and flashy but really friendly and service with a smile!

AristotlesTrousers · 08/05/2019 20:03

We stayed in the Iberostar Cuidad in Alcudia, Majorca last year and it was fab. Went with DP and DS1(6) and DS2(3). It's on the seafront, the apartments have a separate bedroom and the mini disco was great. There's also an old town which is quite nice (though a taxi/busride away). Def recommend! Smile

troppibambini · 08/05/2019 20:04

Sani or ikos resorts expensive but amazing.

Atlantica PortoBello beach in Kos

Princess Hotel in La Palma - on the Tui website

mnahmnah · 08/05/2019 20:49

Hotel koala garden in Gran Canaria with Jet2holidays. We’ve been twice. Family suites have a separate living room to the bedroom. It has french doors onto your own terrace, with sun beds. All rooms are round one of the pools. Great food, lovely place

OldGrinch · 08/05/2019 20:50

Place marking for ideas for next year. Can't afford a holiday this year Sad

Merinocool · 09/05/2019 09:42

Loads to look at thanks so much. I’ve checked on jet 2 and there’s some nice ones. Zafiro can picafort and 3GB Clube Humbria are both available and within budget. I like Iberostar so will look at the Cuidad one.

The Riu in Tenerife looks fab but they would need us to take 2 rooms unfortunately.

@mumsolihull

Random question for you about 3HB Clube apartments: is the bathroom en suite to the bedroom or is it off the lounge/kitchen? Thanks!

marriedthegambler · 09/05/2019 10:49

I've just booked zafiro Menorca, fancied the one in alcudia but it was £1k dearer so did some searching and went for menorca.
The Santa Ponsa zafiro was even cheaper but it had a lot more negative reviews.

TheCaddy · 09/05/2019 12:28

Holiday Village in Tenerife has separate rooms.

AliBingo · 09/05/2019 12:55

Yes Lopesan Baobob is beautiful although a bit £££

Another vote for Zafiro C'an Picafort, we had a swim-up room and the kids enjoyed the disco and the poolside games, they also have a nice playground and a weird adult daredevil waterslide thing! Food was ok but not great. Location was ok but a bit of a walk down dogdirt alley to get to the beach, which was crowded and full of fag butts!

But kids were tiny at the time and we were mostly in the hotel. For the money I think it was really good.

Merinocool · 09/05/2019 13:14

I really love the Baobob one but it’s knocking us into 2 separate rooms again.

The zafiro ones get fairly good reviews, I just worry about them being super busy as they look very kid focused so I’d imagine popular.

AliBingo · 09/05/2019 16:34

We went to Zafiro Can Picafort in August so peak school holidays and it wasn't too bad, especially as we had a swim up.

We were five in a family room at Lopesan Baobob (no separate bedroom though).

Merinocool · 09/05/2019 16:48

Ah we will be there in August too so that’s good to know. Baobob only seem to have twin rooms sleeping upto 3 left so maybe the bigger ones have sold out.
