How do you clean your glasses?

Just gone from never wearing glasses to needing them full time. My twins were quite scared of them initially but one is now very interested and keeps taking them off me and putting them back on me - now my lenses are all smeary with greasy toddler finger prints and the cloths that came with them only smear it around!

Is there some product I should use to get greasy toddler finger prints off them? His twin may need glasses soon so suspect I’ll have more trouble there as well!

I am another one who had worn glasses for over 30 years and absolutely nothing beats a huff of breath and a wipe with a good cotton t-shirt.

but I just breathe on mine and wipe them with my t-shirt

Yup, me too.
I've worn glasses for about 40 years now and never had any 'coatings wearing off'.

I don't clean mine, my husband does them when he cleans his Blush
I only wear them for reading and writing but they're almost a permanent fixture on my nose and he's always baffled how I can see through such dirty lenses.

Glasses wipes box of 100 for £1 in Traci's isle of randomness.

Washing up liquid and hot water - cleans the arms and nose cushion thingys as well as lens.

In an emergency, spray clean windows - although I once went to work thinking it was a slightly foggy morning, only to discover that in a hurry I'd used spray furniture polish Blush

I stick mine in a sink of soapy hot water while I shower, then rinse off and dry on a microfibre hair towel ... perfect.

Tesco isle of randomness not Traci's

I use the Aldi wipes when I realise I can't see anything clearly
