Bedtime songs you sing

We like to songs to DD at bedtime. Some of the classics like Twinkle Twinkle but also a variety of pop (etc) songs.

DD is always asking us for new ones and we’re running low on what to sing. What do you sing to your kids? We need inspiration!

my bedtime song for all of my kids has always been lucy in the sky with diamonds. i’ve sang it to all of them since they were born and it’s now one of my eleven year olds favourite songs.

I sing Alright for Now by Tom Petty, the Tee and Mo song, and I can't make you love me by Bonnie Raitt.

I also sing Turn me On by Norah Jones but I've adjusted the lyrics - so instead of "I'm just sitting here waiting for you to come on home and turn me on", which would be creepy haha, I sing "I'm just sitting here waiting for you to close your eyes and go to sleep" and another line "after all you're the one who turns me off, you're the only one who can turn me back on" is " after all your the one who needs to sleep, you're the only one who can close your eyes"

I love children's picture books of lyrics for this, we have this 'What the World Needs Now' 'Imagine' John Lennon and Bob Marley 'Every Little Thing' and 'One Love'. Also have some nursery rhyme ones, my 2 year old loves 'down at the station' books with holes version the most.
