I’ve noticed the ‘bias’ thing too. It’s a recent phenomenon from what I can tell, usually favoured by ranty Trump supporting types. One person uses it incorrectly on Twitter and then it spreads like wildfire.

Sigh.

This is the classic MN thread on "thing" / "think". It starts off with posters confidently saying it's "thing coming", but the argument soon goes to "think coming". (And I speak as someone who for years thought it was "thing" and was finally convinced that the original phrase was in fact "think").
