What's everyone up to today?
I know NY can be differeent for everyone.

I have just woken, after 10 hours sleep, I didn't stay up. had no alcohol. Adult kids are not back yet- (18 and 21), they willl be at some point.

Probably pop to Tesco, at 10am or so, otherwi8se taking down the christmas tree, doing some work, OH will cook..

I didn't drink too much so feeling quite fresh today .
I've had a lovely soak in the bath using my toiletries I got for Christmas. I smell lovely .
Cleaning day although can't face putting decs down just yet .
Movies later and a nice roast dinner followed by my Christmas chocolates and maybe a couple of Proseccos .

Last nights Eastenders, then tip run, then..... nothing (I hope)

Were taking our youngest DD to the cinema to watch Mary Poppins Returns,I'm hoping it will be a nice distraction as we've woken upto a shit storm and I'm now already feeling like 2019 can fucking do one!

I hope everyone else is having a calm and happy day.

Childrenofthesun mine's usually down on Boxing Day so this is late for me!

I'm trying to persuade myself to step away from the laptop but I'm so lazy. We've to go to my parents for lunch at 3 so I'm hoping I can get off my bum for long enough to get something constructive done before then. DH is glued to his tablet, DD is fishing with the Switch and DS is in bed. He's only 6 and has had a lot of late nights recently and he got up at 5 this morning too, so he's wrecked. At least I hope that's all it is...

Lazy day here, decorations down yesterday, dh at work so just me and ds5, watching telly, doing washing, sorting things out for reality tomorrow, work and school, been such a lovely time off over Xmas with ds.

We had a long dog walk, then made a cooked breakfast when we got home. DH has fecked off to golf, DC are all out and I'm putting away all the christmas stuff and watching the last episode of The Sinner. Feels lovely to claim the house back.
