Morning world, hope you're all ok.

Today im full of a cold and been up hours already, tidied everything away and got sorted so now I'm going to have a quick shower get into some fresh PJs and then snuggle under my throw and watch something easy on TV. DD is playing quietly, DP is relaxing with something he got yesterday so I'm hoping the whole day stays just like this. We'll have some leftovers for food later and nibble on what ever takes our fancy around it.

*What are you upto?
*
Hope what ever it is, you have a nice day xx

Just off to endure an excruciating meal with the dreaded MIL and to smile our way through receiving a massive pile of random tat that she's picked up at carboot sales and wrapped up for us.
She has plenty of money, she's just very weird.
Am preparing for the endless barbed comments on my parenting, my appearance, etc... Xmas SadGin

About to start watching Saving Mr Banks. Plus fleeing the country to tomorrow - so packing-heading to Marrakesh for New Year.

My day has gone now where in the end. I've sat in the same spot all day, throw over me, copious amounts of tea and biscuits, watching DD play with all her toys and just really enjoying the rest day. Hope everyone's enjoyed there's xx

We went for a long walk, I did some cleaning and cooking, dh worked (from home). In laws are over but I am tired so I’ve crawled into bed for a bit of a lie down.
They’re happy chilling with the kids.

My DD (6) is with her dad. I have decorated about half of the lounge. I will finish the rest before she gets home at 6pm tomorrow...then it's our Christmas! Going to make it super lovely for when she gets home. He got her a computer game thing...flashing his cash....what she actually wanted from father Christmas is sitting underneath her stocking on the fireplace.

We had all our family over this afternoon. 26 people in total. It was busy but lovely to have everyone together. Lots of food and conversation.

This morning dh wasn't feeling well so he was in bed till about 10:30. I just hung out with the children then tidied up and got ready for the party.

My dad has DD today so I went for a walk and a coffee at the local high street earlier.
Popped into Sainsbury's - was like a ghost town, a nice change after the madness from Christmas.
Have stripped, washed and remade all the beds (including hoovering and flipping the mattresses), deep cleaned the kitchen, living room, bathrooms and playroom.
Hoovered, swept and steam mopped through.
Just finished tidying my bedroom.

Now I'm in a nice, hot bath. Going to have some savouries when I get out - then watch some films in bed.
Absolutely knackered after cleaning all day!

@WhoTookTheChristmasCookie you've just made so so tired ha ha. I think I'm going to have a mass cleaning day tomorrow like that though. I always find my Mental health isn't great when I'm so tired and don't do anything so hoping a walk and a tidy tomorrow will do it usual trick and boost me again.

Everyone sounds like they've had a lovely day xx
