I guess technically, technically MN won the last one. However, this is MY barn.

Rules:

Feed the ninja owl(s) in the rafters, cake only. Especially me. I get hungry and cannot eat anything other than cake and no yukky healthy stuff in cake.

No discussion at all about yukky healthy food.

I had quite a spicy peri peri chicken thing for lunch, it was nice but then I had a seed in my tooth so was tonguing it (as you do) and I've chilli burned my tongue....it's a hard life

I've got symptoms and biomarkers for an autoimmune disease but they don't know what. Hopefully, the interminable blood tests will discover something. (I may be a medical anomaly).

My friend came round earlier and we had a Papa Johns takeaway. It was quite nice, but I ate too much. Then I ate too much of the chocolate she brought with her too. Now I don't really have much room for dinner.

leslie I’ve never had a papa john’s, when I’m in civilisation I go to Nando’s- only about 40 miles away I could just eat a pizza. It’s 2am (been wrapping while DC in bed) and I was considering going and heating up some rice pudding but thought that was weird so I’ve nabbed a couple of biscuits instead- and set an alarm so I wake up and check b/g it’s the price I pay for being a fatty foodies gotta do what we gotta do!

They’re good old fashioned nosey threads cheshire glad you linked! On the ring one I kept looking at the pic then my own hand (with no ring) just randomly comparing my own fingers to internet strangers...weirdo

NKFell Papa John's is OK. Not that special, but nicer than Pizza Hut/Domino's I think, especially for vegetarians. I only got it because the nice local Italian place has stopped delivering and I can't collect

I hope your biscuits didn't upset your b/g too much. It must be annoying having to test, especially at night!

I'm now watching Annie wombat it's a hard-knock life. I've never seen it, only a few clips. I'm also knitting a unicorn.

RealHousewife I don't have an engagement ring, but I do wear this Russian wedding ring. It's made from my grandad's signet ring melted down (my sister has a different style ring from the same gold). He died before I was born and my dad inherited the ring, but never wore it. I love my ring. It sort of signifies, to me, my mum, my dad and my sister. And the two families joined together by our little family. Sorry, that's a bit cheesy

Totally fab ring and story leslie. And lovely fingernails too. I am so ashamed of mine I hide them al the time. I stopped biting them for quite a while, but sadly started again worse than ever a couple of years ago (when you know what happened). I don't know how to stop!

I've never been able to bite my nails, even when I've needed to. Either I have weak teeth or strong nails! I'm not surprised you restarted on yours no idea how you stop though. Have you tried that manky-tasting stuff you paint on?

I've tried everything. I have weak nails anyway (long standing eczema on hands has made them very fragile, ridged and feeble) and nothing can stop me having a nibble!

I love the ring leslie, I love the sentiment of course (I'm a sentimental creature) but I also like the style, very cool I shall make it my mission to try papa john's, just so I can compare! I love the colours on the...blanket? I had written 'rug' but deleted in case you thought I meant a floor covering, which I don't! Oh and in case you wondered, I had the rice pud for breakfast...couldn't let it waste. Oh and checking b/g is fine, I know I have it easy really...I'm just a whinger, you should know that already really. I only have to sneeze and I'll let everyone know!

NK it's a blanket. It's actually from Woolly Hug's. One of their projects is blankets for people with cancer. I'll see if I can find a photo of the whole thing as it's quite impressive.
