Have you ever had to delete someone off Facebook and why ?

One old school friend has just called another old school friend something really nasty, said she’s got teeth like the clown in Stephen kings it
And has she been in an accident

She said he comment about her teeth

I know it’s not my beef but what a nasty thing to say
It got delayed about five hours later the whole post went poof !!

I once deleted someone who doesnt "believe in the holocaust"

One who was a flat earther

And one who said and i quote "teach your daughters how to cook and clean. A full belly keeps a man from wondering"

I regularly go through Facebook a delete people I haven't spoken to for a number of years/are tedious and I am unlikely to need to talk to ever again.

One who didn't stop going on about her precious, interestingly named children. Every fart documented.

One ardent anti vaxxer.

One who boasted about election fraud during Scottish Indyref.

I had an old work friend who was lovely but she kept sharing this god awful animal cruelty stuff.

And people I've not spoken to or seen in RL for a while. It feels to fake to be FB friends but never see each other in RL.

Regular culler here. If I wouldn't invite you into my home for a cuppa, you're not on my FB.

Big FB delete of note - ex schoolmate who was proud of punching his mum's new boyfriend at her 50th birthday party, and kicking him out with his brother. I don't know what happened but I do know his mother was devastated and it ruined her night. She was a lovely woman, I recall. He and his brother walked all over her when we were kids. Apparently nothing had changed.

I mute my dad about once a year for various political rants I don't agree with. Mum says I can't delete him again. 🙄

Deleted someone for offensive political views. It just felt like they were coming into my sitting room promoting their nasty prejudice. Another friend deleted her too. Beware the 'old' connection you lost touch with for a long time - there might be a reason why.

I was about to delete someone for having a political rant at me on my own page, but annoyingly he deleted me seconds before I could.
Generally I hide people rather than delete them. If I do delete people it is usually because we have so little in common anymore that it seems weird still having them see my page - people I have worked with many years ago for example.

My ex next door neighbour who got me kicked off a yard because she was unable to keep her fucking nasty mouth shut. Utter bitch.

A mate who shared the most shocking disablist ‘joke’ I’ve ever seen. I told her it was the most disgusting thing I’d ever seen on Facebook then blocked her.

A guy who was in a group I’m in, he started talking about what a cunt someone from my town had been and was I one too. I just don’t need that sort of shit in my life.

I got deleted by a school mum who thought she’d have a very public rant about our primary school. I couldn’t help myself, I had to say err, that’s not strictly true, or fair. Poof. Apparently now she’s calmed down she feels quite bad about what she said to me. Hasn’t asked me back though. Zero fucks given this end, can’t be arsed with it anymore.

I have deleted people for racist stuff and ignorant posts about immigrants.
