Time for a new specialism, methinks!

Oh, I like a bit of innuendo, me.

We have been football-free thus far. Delayed the start of West Side Story to see the end of Dancing for Comic Relief, but we're now settling down for some Leonard Bernstein fun.

TheSmallPrint · 19/02/2011 19:57

I have just switched over Maud, was it any good?

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 19/02/2011 19:59

We only saw Russell Kane (Who he? Ed) and Katie Price, but I like all this get-someone-with-two-left-feet-and-turn-them-into-a-dancer stuff. We're always addicted to Strictly, too.

TheSmallPrint · 19/02/2011 20:03

Russell Kane the comedian, he's been on the box a lot lately. He's a bit hit and miss really. Hopefully they will show the clips again so I can laugh at them

TheSmallPrint · 19/02/2011 20:05

And just in case the sarcasm didn't read, I am not a dancer, never danced as a child (along with never going to brownies - we were deprived children) and have no trophies.

TheSmallPrint · 19/02/2011 20:07

Oooh X men on 5, I may be a bit distracted during wolverine bits.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 19/02/2011 20:10

So, does this Mr Jackman merit further scrutiny, Small?

::Realises she has been living under a stone for years, as she has no idea who Messrs Kane, Jackman and Butler (amongst others) are::

DumSpiroSpero · 19/02/2011 20:11

I'm being subjected to Clash of the bloody Titans.

Hugh Jackman...

judge for yourself Maud Grin

OP posts:
TheSmallPrint · 19/02/2011 20:13

Yes he does Maud, especially as Wolverine and as the drover in Australia , he did win the worlds sexiest man (or some such acolade) last year too.

TheSmallPrint · 19/02/2011 20:15

Bit clean cut there for my liking Spiro, but I think we've said before we prefer him a bit rougher looking Grin

DumSpiroSpero · 19/02/2011 20:16

and one for our pogonophiles

OP posts:
DumSpiroSpero · 19/02/2011 20:17

I agree SmallPrint - as the Drover especially - yum!

I expect Maud will prefer him in Leopold mode though!

OP posts:
TheSmallPrint · 19/02/2011 20:18

Mmmmmm very nice Grin. It's on 4 not 5, I got a bit excited.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 19/02/2011 20:20

Oh yes. I see. Although he does look as if he might be about to start singing about the Surrey with a fringe on top. Actually, he was in Oklahoma, wasn't he? Is Australia any good?

::SMFV finger starting to twitch to buy Manhattan so one might as well bulk-buy::

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 19/02/2011 20:21

Very nice. Who is this Leopold of whom you speak?

DumSpiroSpero · 19/02/2011 20:21

this do you Small?

Have you seen him in Oklahoma? He was very good.

OP posts:
DumSpiroSpero · 19/02/2011 20:22

Kate & Leopold - a film he did with Meg Ryan. Haven't seen it all the way through but if you imagine 'Enchanted' in reverse you're pretty much there I think.

OP posts:
TheSmallPrint · 19/02/2011 20:23

He has been on stage doing musicals he has a very good singing voice. You tube the oscars opening for last year, t'was quite fun. Australia is good if I remember rightly, I was distracted there a bit too.

DumSpiroSpero · 19/02/2011 20:25

That'll do nicely Spiro Grin- does that tempt you Maud??

TheSmallPrint · 19/02/2011 20:27

Can't get on that link Spiro.

SupermassiveLBD · 19/02/2011 20:30

Hugh Who?

Oh, I see...

Spiro, that link is still misbehaving titslef for me but being as you recommend it, I shall go the long way round.

SupermassiveLBD · 19/02/2011 20:31

oops, doesn't that look funny? itself

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 19/02/2011 20:31

Hmm. Must say I appreciate the chest hair. Do any gentlemen have a completely hairless chest except through ::gasps at the thought:: waxing? Maybe I have just known some unusually hirsute men. But what I really need to see is Mr Jackman sporting a cravat. For comparative purposes, you understand.

::waits impatiently for the Jackmanophiles to come up with the goods::
