Time for a new specialism, methinks!

I like your combination there, Small :)

Sorty you are having a pants day :( Must be so difficult, having to work with littlies around!

If it makes you feel any better, we are soon off to the HELL HOLE that is Frankie and Benny's.

PassTheTwiglets · 25/02/2011 11:33

sorry, not sorty :)

SupermassiveLBD · 25/02/2011 12:10

Morning ladies and my sympathies for your cr*p days.
Things are fine here with me on the island but I feel bleuch, as if I have been out on the razz for 76 hours non-stop. Ever heard the old expression about your eyes looking like p**s-holes in the snow? And I didn't have any of the fun acquiring this interesting look Sad

Google is indeed busted if there are no references to the Man as the UK's sexiest actor. Either that or a whole lot of folks' sex-ometer must be on the blink.

Off now to do a desultory tidy-round so it will look as if i have not been sat on my backside all day when my lot roll back hime.

PhoenixRisingFromTheAshes · 25/02/2011 13:12

Hi all!!! Yes still feeling crap - and thanks for all your good wishes - they mean a lot.

I think it is defintely Rob K. If you look at his wikipedia entry there is a list of polls that he has been mostly nominated in (not a winner, most of the time). I think that is where this comes from, other than the apple juice thing which I guess IM probably had "from the horse's mouth". I must say, apple juice alone would get quite boring after a while, but perhaps it is only as a subsitute for alchohol when out on an evening soiree.

I think I remember listening to an interview with RA when he said he was a vodka drinker??? But can't remember which one - think it was one of those radio interviews I have downloaded.

TheSmallPrint · 25/02/2011 14:13

mmmmm vodie and RA Grin

Twigs, I love Frankie and Bennys! Please can we swap lives this week? Please????

Sounds like theres a bug on our thread, I am feeling a bit rubbish today, headache and swollen glands - I suspect I am just allergic to hard work though.

ShowOfHands · 25/02/2011 14:15

I see these threads in active convos all the time. Occasionally I click to try and work out what they're about. I've never managed it.

What are you all on about?

SupermassiveLBD · 25/02/2011 14:26

What are you all on about?

Two words for you, Hands. Richard Armitage.

If in doubt, Google

SupermassiveLBD · 25/02/2011 14:46

Obviously, not an exciting enough answer...

Small, so you are feeling rough today too. And not in the way we like it Grin

Talk of eateries gave me inspiration. Time for a takeaway for dinner tonight I think

PS. What is the problem with Frankie and Bennye's? Just in case I need to know for next time I am in the UK?

TheSmallPrint · 25/02/2011 14:48

Too many children Massive!

TheSmallPrint · 25/02/2011 14:49

gotta run again to the printers, catch up later....

DumSpiroSpero · 25/02/2011 15:13

Hi everyone! Have been trying to check in all day but haven't managed it in between organising self & DD.

We've just got on train to London - staying with younger BIL, his partner & kids tonight, then me & SIL taking DD & DN to Fashion Art exhibition at the Design Museum tomorrow.

Hope everyone's ailments & tribulations sort themselves out. Have already used up my roaming internet allowance for the month, so will check in later when I can take advantage of BIL's WiFi Grin!

It's a thread to talk about Richard Armitage? The drip out of Robin Hood? Seriously?

Well at least you're all grouped together and not spilling your madness across the rest of MN.

SupermassiveLBD · 25/02/2011 17:10

not spilling your madness across the rest of MN.

Public spirited lot, that's us.

Chacun a son gout and all that.

So who's your own personal drip of choice?

ShowOfHands · 25/02/2011 17:36

Well if you haven't come across my love of David Mitchell, you're not on here enough.

Though if you want slightly more conventional, I'd like Damian Lewis on a cracker.

SupermassiveLBD · 25/02/2011 17:52

Well, there you are, you see. It wouldn't make evolutionary sense if everyone liked the same guy, on a cracker or otherwise.

TheSmallPrint · 25/02/2011 17:59

I think you'll find that there are an awful lot of people on MN that like 'the drip out of Robin Hood' ShowOfHands, particularly when he's that gorgeous spy in Spooks or extremely buff SAS man in Strike Back or the handsome and aloof mill owner in North & South. I could go on but maybe just click on a few links in the thread and you'll understand why we are so taken with him.

We do occasionally talk about other stuff. Occasionally.

PassTheTwiglets · 25/02/2011 18:09

Well at least you're all grouped together and not spilling your madness across the rest of MN

Have you contacted a lawyer, Hands? Only I think you need to sue your Charm School...

TheSmallPrint · 25/02/2011 18:13

Spiro the design museum sounds great, I wish I could the boys to come along to something like that. I fear it will never happen unless there is a special Ben 10 display on. Grin

SupermassiveLBD · 25/02/2011 18:13

ROFL @ Small and Twiggy!

PhoenixRisingFromTheAshes · 25/02/2011 19:07

Another "fly by" funster has passed by this way, I see...

TheSmallPrint · 25/02/2011 19:11

How are you two feeling now? My throat is very glandy! I think I am going to try and get an early night tonight but ILs are here now so can't escape to quickly.

SupermassiveLBD · 25/02/2011 19:11

Whatever do they get out of it, Phoenix, it beats me, it really does.

TheSmallPrint · 25/02/2011 19:13

I don't mind people coming in for a visit or to stay, It's not very friendly just to come and be sneery. I hope that wasn't the intent .

SupermassiveLBD · 25/02/2011 19:28

Small, sorry to hear about your throat. Are you hinting that you need the doctor?

With so many poorly ladies about he looks a little under pressure

TheSmallPrint · 25/02/2011 19:32

Grin not hinting but welcome anyway Massive! He does look a bit stressed there.
