Evening you two, sorry I have had to work this evening, I wasn't off drowning my sorrows. Let's stop over analysing it, were all here for a bit of comaraderie and a laugh in our mutual admiration of our favourite actor .

Tell me about Outcasts, then, anyone, so I'll know whether to want to watch it in the future, when it makes it onto our screens here

I find it quite hard to compare with RA forums, because this is basically a single thread, and a small number of people. Yes its lighthearted, and I don't think overly naughty really. Especially as its not possible to embed pictures in these threads, only link to them.

The RA forums tend to be very structured, with sub-forums of all sorts, so discussions on episodes of things can get quite serious and heated, but it's still good fun on the whole. And there are plenty light hearted and general threads / sub-forums on them. On the whole, I find the people there are really nice ladies.

I've recorded Outcasts but not got round to watching it so far - is it not that good then?

Outcasts has Ros in it and also Daniel from Ugly Betty. The guy who ayes the devil in ashes to ashes is also in it. I know you'll tell me now that Ashes to Ashes has not reached you yet and nor has Ugly Betty!

Now that is a lovely piece of art there, Spiro, it really is. Is that the good Captain wotsisname, he of the rugger match?

Small, to digress somewhat, I could get Ashes to Ashes on DVD at the local meja emporium, if I wanted. Is it any good? I loved Life on Mars but they are charging a lot more for A to A.

Outcasts had a lot of promise but it's rubbish trying too hard. Shame, I love Ros.

A to A was great, got a bit weird here and there but generally a good watch.

Ditto, Phoenix. I don't have the patience to get that seriously into it I must admit but nice to know We're not wildly overstepping the mark in the grand scheme of things.

UF is probably worth looking at if you can borrow a copy or get it cheaply from Blockbusters or the library. He's actually not in it a great deal - the character development is sadly lacking over the 5 episodes in and it all has a very unhappy and quite ending.

It's certainly not a patch on Strikeback.

Must get it then, Small, but I have got so much in the queue, waiting to be watched. I gotts finish RH first, then it's Sparkhouse and then I just know I'll be tempted to go and meet Mr Porter - the soldier man, not the designer fashion one.

I finished Sylvester tonight - loved it! Small, will post yours to you tomorrow as am going into town to take MissTwiglets to see Gnomeo & Juliet. I just have A Convenient Mariage to finish now and that's all the RA Heyer done. I am addicted to second-hand bookshops and I now have an urge to go back to Hay-on-Wye and purge them of all their Heyer books.

Did anybody watch Glee tonight?! Firstly, WOW Gwynnie can sing! Secondly, I just adored that mix of The Umbrella Song and Singin' In The Rain!

The beard pics are lovely Twiggy. I have looked at a few forums and the general opinion on the subject seems to be an enthusiastic thumbs up.

I just watched Outcasts - it seems to be improving, but it's been on a long slow burn and has lost a lot of viewers I think - they have moved it to Sunday nights. Absolutely the best thing about Outcasts is Daniel Mays (the devil guy from Ashes), if it wasn't for him I would definitely have stopped watching completely. I'm not an avid watcher anyway, but I have quite enjoyed what I have seen.

I've not seen UF but its on TV at the moment, so will be recording the episodes and hopefully watching them! I doubt I will be able to watch live. I also think that it is possibly on ITVplayer or iPlayer now, as its ITV4 - I need to check that out.

Strikeback has 3 mini documentaries on it - quite a lot of bonus RA !
