I thought she was too skinny and shrivelled up to have any more kids.

DM really are bollixes. they had a picture of liz hurley today and they referred to it as "liz when she was in her prime" oh for GOD's sake. WHo would refer to a man of 25 being in his prime. eeeyuck. And then a comparison of Arun's gf now with liz "when she was in her prime". PUKE.

SlightlyTubbyHali · 10/01/2011 18:56

I do remember her being quoted as saying something along the lines of she'd love to have a daughter to give her clothes collection to. Seems fair enough to me!

I think it is lovely news.

OracleInaCoracle · 10/01/2011 18:57

i think its lovely, I really like them both, and she has been very vocal about wanting another child. fab!

oh, and:

nice. didnt hear people saying that holly willowby was to fat to have more kids (disclaimer, not that I think in any way that she is)

kittywise · 10/01/2011 19:53

She is very underweight. Very underweight people often have difficulties conceieving That is well accepted.
She looks horribly unhealthy and I am amazed she has managed it at all tbh. I would be surprised if it was a natural conception.
I actually don't care either way. But the woman has always made my skin itch.

kittywise · 10/01/2011 19:53

conceiving even

TubbyDuffs · 10/01/2011 19:58

Oooh Kittywise you don't sound very nice at all! In love with David much?

I am not a fan of the Beckhams, but do think it is lovely that they are having another baby and I hope that all goes well for them.

Deciduousblonde · 10/01/2011 20:29

Personally, I think David Beckham is lush..but that just might be pregnancy hormones Wink

Boy or girl, they will love the child no matter what. Whatever you think of them, great parents they certainly are!

kittywise · 10/01/2011 20:51

I'm not nice 'cos don't like VB?Hmm

OracleInaCoracle · 10/01/2011 21:32

kitty, being overweight can be just as much of a hinderance to conceiving though. fair enough if you dont like her.

kittya · 10/01/2011 22:19

he just gets better, doesnt he? I dont mind her at all. Im surprised that she gets pregnant so easily, given that she is underweight. Its a shame, I think she would look so much healthier with abit of meat on her.

kittywise · 11/01/2011 07:17

I agree lissie, either extreme is very bad for you.

OracleInaCoracle · 11/01/2011 07:29

i dont think she is THAT underweight. my old EDT used to tell me that BMI is rubbish, and you can tell the difference between skinny and slim by the way they look. she is naturally very slim anyway.

ValiumTinselton · 11/01/2011 08:31

DB is nice in photos. But his squeaky voice combined with his accent are a bit of a turn off. And all those tattoos. I think he was lucky to end up with somebody with a bit of style. I could really see DB with somebody like a page three 'stunna'.

Deciduousblonde · 11/01/2011 09:27

BMI is indeed rubbish!

As for DB...well, if I ever had him in my possession he would be instructed not to speak..or I would have to gag him. I wouldn't be interested in conversation, luckily Wink

eastegg · 11/01/2011 10:33

I agree with lissie. I'm fed up with how acceptable it seems to be to have a go at skinny people. 'Shrivelled up' is not nice but I suppose you're entitled to your opinion Kitty if that's how she looks to you (she doesn't to me).

How do we know she's underweight? There's a huge range of what's healthy depending on what's natural for you. I look dead skinny, no 2 ways about it (BMI of 19 when I was 12 weeks pregnant which is the only time i've ever had it worked out), but haven't had any trouble conceiving.

On a different point, I thought it wasn't advisable to have more than 2 caesareans. Does that not apply if you can pay for super-duper medical care? or maybe if you're rich enough there's a 'third way' the rest of us don't know about?!

Deciduousblonde · 11/01/2011 10:39

I think it depends on the consultant, eastegg.

My sister in law has had 4 C Sections, and has been advised to have no more children. Luckily she doesn't want any more!

GetOrfMoiLand · 11/01/2011 10:45

This is lovely news.

I really like VB, I think she is great. And I don't think she is too thin Hmm. Certainly not skinny and shrivelled.

The photo of them with their 3 sons is lovely - what lovely looking kids.

Good on them. I hope she has a daughter - she needs one to bequeath all those bags to.

kittywise · 11/01/2011 11:28

I think she looks unhealthily thin. I do not think she looks 'well'. There is a difference between very slim and scrawny and she has crossed the line IMO. When she was younger, before she got married she looked a lot better.

eastegg · 11/01/2011 12:03

Oh dear VB has crossed Kittywise's scrawny line. I'm sure she gives a huge toss. What do you think she's done, got some fat bird to lend her some eggs because she's too 'scrawny' and 'shrivelled' to produce any? Skinny woman has kids shock. Get over it.

kittywise · 11/01/2011 12:31

I think you have "issues" about scrawny women.

Ponders · 11/01/2011 12:58

More than 2 sections has been fine for years now, eastegg - I've had 4 (the last 18 years ago), & there used to be a poster here called zipper (I think) who had 7!!! Shock

They used to be very cautious in the old days of vertical incisions, which were much more likely to rupture. The bikini line incision is a lot safer.

eastegg · 11/01/2011 13:23

Thanks Ponders, I had a feeling my info was probably out of date but my NCT teacher mentioned it and that was only 2 years ago. She must have been scaremongering!

Eglu · 11/01/2011 14:34

GetOrfMoiLand she absolutely does not need a DD to give those bags too. I would be more than happy to take one or two off her hands Grin
