Oh well, wel'' agree to disagree Kitty. Don't think she is too thin personally, her face looks healthy, not skeletal.

Summerbird73 · 11/01/2011 15:44

eglu i was about to jump on and claim to be VB's long lost DD for that very reason ('cept she is younger than me Blush )

Eglu · 11/01/2011 17:12

summerbird Grin Think she is older than me, but only by a couple of years.

ednurse · 11/01/2011 17:14

Lovely news. If you read this Vic then I'm 10 mins from Beckingham palace if you ever want a babysitter Wink

wuggglemump · 11/01/2011 17:17

I don't think they can win can they?
If they have a girl everyone will say they had gender selection, and if they don't everyone will say she's disappointed, whether she is or not.

She's always come across as a pretty good Mum to me, and they looked like a lovely family at the Sports Personality of the Year awards.

Congratulations to them.

GetOrfMoiLand · 11/01/2011 17:23

Who gives a monkeys if they have had gender selection or not, really.

But you are right, they will get criticism whatever happens.

God who would chose to be famous?

wuggglemump · 11/01/2011 17:37

Exactly, I don't care if they had it, but they will get criticised for it even if they didn't, if they have a girl.

It's not that unusual to have three of one sex first and then the other is it?
I know a few folk on MN who have.

I'd hate to be famous.

I can just imagine the close ups of my cellulite and being ripped apart for going into Greggs for a sausage rollSad

Deciduousblonde · 11/01/2011 20:22

I bet she is gonna wish she had said nothing about wanting a girl! if it is a girl, it will be ''Posh gets her girl at last'' or something along those lines, making her boys seem redundant.

I'm a beit sensitive at the mment as I am expecting my 4th girl, and have had endless 'awww that's a shame it's not a boy' comments from unthinking people.

How rude! we are both happy and so are our daughters. DH is relieved, actually. He has never had to deal with a boy nappy Wink

Ponders · 11/01/2011 20:31

I imagine her boys are secure enough to know that she loves them no matter what, but I agree Db, the headlines will be terribly tactless, whichever it is Sad

Summerbird73 · 11/01/2011 21:33

DB four girls? fabulous! you and your girls can be your own little 'Spice Girls' Grin

no wonder VB is wearing a big coat in the Sports Personality pics!

MoldyWarp · 11/01/2011 23:39

kittiwise agree re conception
my money is on ivf with pgd Wink

icapturethecastle · 11/01/2011 23:53

I have been thinking the same MoldyWarp

Deciduousblonde · 12/01/2011 00:16

That's what I mean Ponders..of course her sons know their parents treasure them :) what has upset me about the remarks I have received is the fact that other people appear to think my daughters (especially the one expected in May)are somewhat defective? after all, why else would they display such disappointment? Sad

Summerbird, thankyou! indeed we shall. I am 'Old Spice'..Grin

MoldyWarp · 12/01/2011 00:30

deciduous - i have 5 boys and have learned to smile through gritted teeth!!

Deciduousblonde · 12/01/2011 00:34

Ahhhh..I have been doing a bit of that myself lately. I understand I have many years of that to come!

MoldyWarp · 12/01/2011 00:41

deciduous - I'll join you on tour with the Jackson 5!

Deciduousblonde · 12/01/2011 00:44

Yay! I think we would be more like The Nolans..that's ok, right? Grin

MoldyWarp · 12/01/2011 21:36

We can tour with our families and gender specific people can either cheer or boo when either family comes on! We could earn £££££

NannyState · 12/01/2011 21:40

Maybe I am just a soppy cow, but I love it when anyone announces they are pregnant. Gives me a warm glow Grin

DarrellRivers · 16/01/2011 17:14

I missed this [been working too hard]
Congratulations to them all

I hate all this stuff about how they want a girl. How horrible if they have a boy and he grows up and hears he was meant to be a lassie?
She just wants an ickle Dolly imho!

A little Suri Cruise to fashionista babies on your hips at dawn with Katie madeye Holmes

GenevieveHawkings · 19/01/2011 15:35

Word has it that Posh has paid to have some bonkers treatment to guarantee she has a girl this time around.

And 4 children is not hard work for Posh and Becks. Not when they have armies of nannies and minders on hand and even members of their own families in their employ who are paid to look after and amuse their children for them when they're either off pleasing themselves at work or can't be bothered to do it themsleves.

Highlander · 27/01/2011 16:43

I expect they've had IVF with very expensive pre-natal gender selection. Only in the USA..........

ByThePowerOfGreyskull · 30/01/2011 21:20

Do you know, I will be delighted if she is having a boy, just to stick 2 fingers up at all the people thinking that she is sooo desperate to have a girl that she would go to all the bizarre lengths that you imagine.

She is just a woman with a lovely family who is having another baby!
