What is a Moot and what do you do at it?

A Pagan Moot is a community gathering/discussion group centred around paganism and related subjects - witchcraft, astrology, tarot, anything to do with the occult, etc.

Many Pagan Moots are essentially social discussion groups. At our Moot, we meet monthly and there is normally a pre-arranged topic for discussion. Occasionally there might be some practical stuff that is done - at the most recent Moot, people spent some of the time doing Tarot readings for each other (the topic of that Moot was Tarot.) Normally, it's simply a conversation.
