Do you have kids? If so, have you told them?

How old are you now? And what’s your job?

00s · 19/08/2026 15:25

Yes I have kids they don’t know , but would not have an issue with them finding out if it ever came up in conversation. I have an accounts business ( and I actually mean accounts lol ) .

Do you keep yourself in good shape? Did you ever fall for any of your customers?

of course it will come up at some point! But yes… nothing to be ashamed of so I’d probably tell too in your shoes

Yes still keep in shape have always been into fitness , no but did make some good female friends at the time . Some of the nicest , genuine people I’ve meet if I’m honest.

I mean it was way before I had kids , so not something that comes up in every day conversation.

But it’s nothing I’m ashamed of. If anything the opposite I had the confidence to do something that was fun at the time .

Are you in a LTR with a man? How do you manage to trust men if so?

00s · 19/08/2026 15:39

Yes I am ,no trust issues , he doesn’t go to strip clubs . But working at an aboveboard one I got to see what they are really like ( no idea what they are like now) . Different times but for the dancers it’s just work

Edited

Would you mind if he did go to stripper clubs? Did you ever feel in danger leaving the club at night or were their strict protocols to keep you safe?

One thing thinking back I realise how young I actually was . But felt like I was an adult at the time , but I feel like the youth of today are/ act younger then my generation ( millennial ) .

Must admit don’t know much about this particular story . I’m in England but it was a big issue in the early 00s .
a lot of clubs in the early 00s and protests etc . But just think as long as everyone are adults I don’t see the issue . And with OF etc now I think it was pretty tame .

Definitely empowered as mentioned the women I worked with were amazing. And we actually thought it was funny how easy men could be manipulated.

I would mind if he was a regular, not because of the dancers . But just because of the kind of men that were regulars if that makes any sense.
No never felt any danger the security were very protective.

Did you have to do private dancers and grind on men?

Yes did private dances , it was early 00s so you were supposed to leave a gap . But yes grinding did happen but nothing extreme. Nothing more then how many would dance in the nightclubs back in the 90s/ 00s

Do you like the Friends episode where they thought the stripper had stolen Ross’ wedding ring?

I actually watched friends but can’t remember that episode. I’m assuming that was a private party , rather than a club ( could be wrong). I did like the episode with Danny DeVito ( hope I got his name correct)

What was you best take home pay, and what percentage did you give to the "house" Did you enjoy dressing up?

MidnightMeltdown · 19/08/2026 16:33

How old were you when you started and would you be happy for your DD to do it at the same age?

Can’t remember the most in one night if I’m honest . but remember making £500 in two hours . Yes loved dressing up we would wear long dresses before 00:00 and what we wanted after until closing. Yes we had a house mom we paid not much like £10-£15.
I can’t remember the exact number butwas £20 per private dance and you would pay the house like £6 out of that . But got good tips and didn’t get charged any think on like your first 3-4 dances

I was young 19 , no I wouldn’t be happy at the same age . Was different times 19 then wasn’t the 19 of today for example I had moved out by then .
